I opened my turn from Kevin and found the front lines to be this ( I haven't moved anything yet ):

In the earlier turns I was hurting for trucks and now I'm awash in them. I've got trucks coming out of my ears. No need to put anybody in static mode yet either.

As for the Axis turn 11 attacks : There were 99 battles: 59 observed, 8 held, 22 retreated, 6 routed, and 3 "supplies" whatever that is, and one surrender.

I've got 9 airbases that don't have any planes on them and this picture is all that's left to assign from the National Reserve. I'm guessing that the Russian Air Force isn't as big as it's forecast to get yet. Or maybe I have too many airbases. Maybe I should think about disbanding one or more of them.

Here's a close-up of the Leningrad situation. Nothing is breaking through right now so I'm somewhat encouraged. Leningrad is empty but maybe Kevin doesn't know that.......or maybe he's trying to free the Finns. Or maybe he's trying to deprive the SU of the manpower that Leningrad has. Maybe I should send him an email telling him it's empty of industry and he'll divert to Moscow or something.

Here's the situation a little further south of the above image. Remember I haven't moved anything yet.......I'm just giving some close-ups of the various areas in play.

And here's what it looks like down toward Odessa. Kevin is trying to break a hole in my lines in the deep south for the first time. He must have gotten all his ducks in a row down there.

There's a couple of Front HQ's that don't have any airplanes: Bryansk and Reserve. I need to look into that. Ground support is very important in this game. Ural's and Volga Fronts don't have any planes either but then they don't need any yet.

And then I decided to move all the industry out of Kremenchug. Yeah, I know, I've never heard of it either.

Here's the front line after I moved everything, just before I ended my turn.

I've discovered you can learn quite a bit from this screen, and uncover potential opportunities for improvement, although I also should have added "...and sort by HHQ."  But on to what's here, or not.

6th Army is overloaded, and with 200k men is your largest army.  Really too big and should try and shrink it down.  It's also commanded by Muzychenko who is a "Quad-4".  That is to say a grade 4 in admin, initiative, infantry and morale, i.e a substandard leader.  Much better commanders are available, though maybe you prefer to spend the APs elsewhere.  Koniev, Rokossovsky, Tolbukhin, Zakharov and Malinovsky all appear to be looking for meaningful work.

You have most armies locked, but have a few with high SUs and at support level 3.  So they'll bleed off unless that is your intention.

Interesting choice on the plus-up of Moscow Military District.  I don't think that command ever converts to a front. 

Bryansk Front only has 2 armies, you might add a third, even if it's only a Stavka shell army initially.  You could move some CUs around to offload some out of SW front and transfer it to the same shell army for better balance.

Sorry about the missing sort. Yeah, I've been looking around on this screen and I'm seeing nugets of good info here and there. Thanks for pointing this out.

Yeah, 6th Army is way too big. I'll move another HQ over there and relieve it somewhat.

Moving some of the SW front to Bryansk is a good idea. Another good catch. Thanks.

On the Moscow Military District plus-up, I meant that you assigned armies to that command and that was interesting as I don't think it will ever move.  If you ever get moving west in a serious way that might become an issue as the armies keep moving further from Moscow.  But clearly that is not a concern now.

And FWIW, this is not the level of play we've seen from you in the previous two PBEMs. Keep up the good work . Klilly is going to find himself in trouble if you simply keep playing this well.
