This little gem is such a thoughtful simulation of the Great War. While I am not such a fan of the Slitherine PBEM system, the rest of the fixes would be so appropriate in this centennial year.

As WWI is now one century ago there is surely a great reason to update GoA the only real WWI game.

I think Frank is rather absorbed on the Piercing Fortress Europa (an excellent game by the way) forum.

Since WW1 is celebrating 100 years and there are a glut of WW1 games hitting the market it would be a great time to update GOA. Even though I haven't played it recently its still one of my favorite games.

I would vote YES. I am just about to buy the game, I think, although END OF ALL WARS is now coming and I am torn two ways. I have heard good things about your game, though, and think that an updated game from you would have to benefit from the years of gestation since the last iteration.
As I said, it is August 2014 and I've never even played your game so cannot say where it needs improvement, but go for it anyway.

Anybody out there willing to trade a copy of this game or let a copy go? I just don't want to give $30 when I am not sure if I will get more than a game or two out of it.
