Options on my flanks were just too tempting to ignore, so I decided to halt my advance towards Moscow and explore theses possibilities. Orel pocket is weak.

Fighting withdrawal of Red Army continues.

Mud hampers operations in northern zone. I do not complain, because I was extremely luck with weather so far.

Unfavourable weather limited my actions to re-establishing ring of encirclement around Soviet units near Orel.

Slow advance forward. "Acquiring" ground and battering Soviet units is my objective at the moment. It is still summer so land in Russia is still cheap.

Anaemic grind forward, plus clearing south pocket. My advance is greatly slowed by withdrawal of most units from 18th Army.

I keep pushing east to get more space for withdrawal, plus damage rail.

End of Barbarossa, and Soviet losses are very low, very low despite good turn.

Really? I though 3M is minimum figure to have slight chance of winning game.

That's what I thought it was as well, but as I understand it, it should be including the snow turns. You also have over 70% as kill/cap.

No decent Soviet player will let you kill 3M+. For that you'd need something like the historical Kiev pocket.

Below average 0 to 2.75 million
Average 2.75 to 3.0
Good 3.0 to 3.25
Amazing 3.25 to 3.5

If you get 3.25 its about over for the Russian. It still take a good blizzard on your part and a good 42 summer. Then you have to play game to 45.

1.05 does move the games into 45 unless you just have your enemy over matched.

Under 1.05 as German you need to kia 3 million by December, take Leningrad/Moscow do very good in south. Make it through winter with less then 750,000 in losses and then have a good 42 summer.
