There are armament pts, Hvy points and factorys that can be moved.

Factory's are important if you lose them you can't build the planes, tanks, trucks ect they build.

Right now under the current rule set hvy industry is meaningless, why no one rails them to Urals.

Armament pts are important to try to destory. Before 1.05 every game that anyone was able to destory 100 or more was a win 10 for 10 in my personal experance. No ones really sure how low the number is now. My personal guess is 70.

Also there is manpower points, which have become important after 1.05 was patched in.

Pre 1,05 the taking of Moscow was not really important for the German, now it is important because of the 100 manpower pts. These points migrate to another citys and grow back but during the very important summer of 42 it will hurt the Red army badly -10k per turn in replasements.

Most games now will be desided during 42 and not 41 and hopefully many later.

Patch 1.05 was a big plus for wite.

Yes they can be moved as can factory's and hvy,

Once they are moved as German you have no way to track them, you never get a chance to destory them once they are moved.

You can see where they are an how many there are by hitting the industry button. When I destory them I just add them to how many I have destoryed. You basicly have to look at map every turn before you move so you konw for sure if you have destoryed any during you moves. Russian play can track them on the production screens.

The russian player trys to build up a large pool of armament points so once he starts his grinding of the German army down he will be able to feed the beast so to speak.

Pelton, you mention that Heavy Industry is meaningless under the current rule set. Can you explain why, please.

From the production screen it appears that Heavy Industry produces supplies. These are used by other industries to produce goods, and the balance of supplies left is distributed to the troops. I would have thought that crippling Heavy Industry would lead to reduced supplies for the Russian Army, which can only be a good thing.

Hvy gets its pts from resoure pts on map.

Your will never as German be able to get less hvy then resource pts, unless your playing someone who you greatly over match and game be over before it matters anyways.

There will alsos be more resourses then hvy far more an you can only get to a very small % of total.

Thats why most russians are using the evac and run tactic, evac armament points only and leave hvy behind.
