The meatgrinder continues as reserves from both sides are fed into the battle. 4 Partisan squads are killed this turn in addition to 1 Guard Infantry squad, SMG squad and a truck.

The train station is almost mine, troops have moved into position for a final push to take the station. Death and destruction everywhere. The German squads down south are holding although at a cost. It is a seesaw battle between houses as squads push forward then retreat as casualties are suffered.

This is a fun battle It's very not typical hehehe

Your Turn

Lots of infantry die It's time now for my Flame tanks to be trown into the battle

Death all across the battlefield. The south remains at status quo as advancing soviet infantry are chewed up by MG42s and infantry squads. Casualties are suffered by both sides.

In the train station, a few Soviet squads are forced to retreat but the German infantry fail to follow up due to the presence of a flame tank.

To the north a Wolverine is spotted working together with a T-34, more infantry squads are pushed back.

With their armor gone, it is up to the German infantry to destroy these metal monsters. I'm sure the Soviets have suffered extreme casualties in terms of personnel, almost a company ++ of Partisans so far, almost a company of SMG squads and half a company or so of SMG squads. Surrender!! Your tanks will do you no good!!!

Russians run out of infantry, ROTFLOL

The pressure is intensifying to the North as Soviet infantry units and a tank attempt to enter my sector of the city. They are pushed back, but with losses to my infantry.

In the middle, another Guard infantry and SMG squad is fed into the meat grinder. How many more?? Now I know how the Germans felt.

The South is holding as Soviet infantry can't seem to breakthrough my line there. Under constant barrage of Katyushas and 120mms.

Moving foward in the North and middle, the south is messy

Yes the south is still messy. A few soviet squads are pushed back in the north. German reserves are now being thrown into the fray. The south is really messy and is currently still at a stand still. Katyushas continue their rain of death around my troops, I hope my Wespes can do their job in your turn.

Germans are forming a line in the middle to stop the 2 rampaging flame tanks. A few assaults are made but to no avail. Accompanying infantry is pushed back though.

It just got even bloodier

German troops are holding at the entrance of the train station. An OT-34/85 flame tank is destroyed by anti-tank mines.

Fighting and repositioning all across the line. The Soviets are trying to make a breakthrough in the north. They are in for a surprise. The middle is secure, only a few pockets of infantry can be seen, although with the Reds I can't be sure. The troops in the south are OK although they are pretty hard-pressed every turn by artillery and russian infantry.

Infantry guarding my artillery a few turns back are now moving up to stem the tide of Russians.

Artillery barrage from the russians are surprisingly light this turn, the Germans thank God for the relief. Katyushas being re-loaded?

Man, it is really getting good,all thebloodshed and everything hehehe, and this is the first non-decisive victory for u against me what an achievement hehehehe

Let's just say that the 29th was eventually crushed but the 6th army escaped, is that fair?

6th army to retake the Factories of Stalingrad? Man, I love these Stalingrad maps, really intense

OK here it is:

The valiant efforts of the 29th has allowed the rest of the 6th army to escape encirclement. A massive counterattack is now being staged by infantry and tank elements of the 14th Panzer to retake the Tractor factories of Stalingrad. If this battle is won then it is the Soviets who will be encircled at Stalingrad and decimated.
