OKH only managed one little pocket so far. I have to say this is due to your awesome defending Olivier. I don't know how you kept your units mobile enough. you always manage to put up either enough space between my units and yours or you manage to build several lines of defenders. If i succeed to break all lines i will have used up all action points of my mobile units and have no means to exploit the breakthrough.

maybe i was not agressive enough. I tried to avoid any assaults on cities or woodlands behind rivers. but on the other hand this gives my endgame room to manoeuvre: i speed up the advance right now and i can accept high casualties in doing so: i am still a fair bit under the allowed 15% mark.

in hindsight i made a few poor decisions. one was not to use the terror bombing card on the dutch. another was to send one Panzer division south to counter french armour. and considering pockets i should have chosen to use my paras early in the game instead of buying the Totenkopf Division. Maybe a combined effort with both Para Divisions would have made a real breakthrough possible.

I followed my plan from the beginning but now I see clearly that it won't stop you to achieve a major victory...[:@]. My front is all broken and you have 5 more days to get some important citys. All the BEF will be destroy ! There should be a rule to avoid the allied player to sacrifice all of it.
I should have moved the british arty in front of the advance of panzer group Kleist but I will have lost it or it has been helpful those last days.
I was scared to see a massive paradrops behind my line. I had kept units to counter that or to protect key hexes but you will have surely manage to cut some rail lines that I did use to evacuate the front.
Now you have only 8 % of losses. Let's double that so I can call for a draw [:D]

I just got a call from the Führer and he is not delighted with my strategy. he actually called me a sissy and even worse. he thinks my strategy will make our boys soft, 'amerikanisch' was the term he used. The Führer can be a prick at times and i told him so... he he.
nah. i did of course not tell him, i said instead 'Jawohl, mein Führer, wie Sie befehlen mein Führer, selbstverständlich, mein Führer!' and so on.

but i also promised him that he will soon have lots of opportunities to burn away the spared Wehrmacht units in the upcoming Case Blue. he only said: make sure there are no bugs left when i arrive.

Our troops enter Paris under the cheers of the locals! Small business owners, the war industry and brothels owners expect a bright future under our command.


the news arrive in the OKH and when informed that a culture nation like france cheered our troops entering Paris, Hitler does a little Baroque dance to recognize this fine countries reaction.


the locals even take over abandoned british tanks to present them to the new overlords. here we see a young Sartre of the Joan of Arc resistance group with a confiscated Mathilda tank.

this is propaganda ! Paris is still free and the 2A will be in charge of his defense.[;)]

you still have internet access? in a fisher boat on the way to Plymouth???


The 2A consists now of:

12 drunken officers
8 polish exile fighters

and sits in front of a farmhouse near Belfort.
