RE: Pricing on release

I would be happy to pay up to $199.00 for this game ... with a free update when the additional content is working (PBEM, AI etc.).
Can't wait to play.
Can't wait to play.

$60-#80 is not uncommmon for Matrix games. These games aren't mass-market hits; they target a niche audience
True and without an AI or PBEM option it is very likely to stay that way.
This is a pity as I have been watching and waiting for this game, quietly and patiently for very many years but without these components it would make it very hard to justify a premium price tag to me at this time.
Sorry but I'm out.

Yes I would certainly reconsider and would buy a fully functioned playable game (AI and PBEM) for that money $60-$80. But if it was over the $120+ I would have to think carefully about it again.(Bit difficult to pin down where I would draw the line exactly as I would buy the game in UK Pounds and all estimated prices have been in dollars so depends on exchange rates local taxes etc).
It is a game I have be waiting for a long time (I first saw it was in development in 2008 and was one of the main reasons I joined the matrix forum) but I will admit over time my enthusiasm for it has flagged to the point, that now a version that is in effect only netplay is near to completion I would rather wait until a fully functioning AI/PBEM game is released as this is how I would play it.
Even if I just paid for the netplay version to support it's development in the hope the AI and PBEM would be forthcoming sooner rather than later I wouldn't get round to playing it on netplay so it would be a waste of money for me at this time.

Usually the person saying "I could care less" means "I couldn't care less". But the former isn't necessarily a mistake. Given the right emphasis on words and intonation it could be a sarcastic comment. Perhaps that will let you be less irritated when you see it in print.ORIGINAL: warspite1
Ahhhhhhhhhh [X(]
Why have peeps from the US suddenly all taken to saying "I could care less" when they mean couldn't care less???
Drives. Me. Potty.
Rant over. Thank-you. [:)]
Now about using the word 'utilize' instead of 'use', ...

The United States and United Kingdom are two nations that use English as the same language but in truth we are separated by a different language. I'm lol right now because warspite is confused by the I could care less comment. I also could care less about the price... I will pay because it's worth it and matrix is a great company while it is owned by slitherine.ORIGINAL: Shannon V. OKeets
