Raccoons, pigs, and bears are all fairly smart. Humans are top of the heap, though some people have argued otherwise. Opposable thumbs with fully flexible hands help a lot too.

He won't have time but he is welcome to post on mine. That means he can't give anything away until it's moot, but that's how I run my AAR anyway. I want you to be in suspense over what the "evil" gorn will do next.

I've found something when looking at this version's initial start assault strengths on the allied side bases in case in case they've changed so there's no big surprises waiting if I try to take them. It looks like an error at one of them and it's not in his favor. I've PM'd JWE about it to find out. If it is wrong I'll probably have to restart my first turn from scratch after it's fixed.

Enough slacking!

I'm trying to use one of chemkid's maps but it has no borders so I've painted some in. In our HR units in the Kwangtung Army, both in Manchukuo and Korea, may not leave there without paying the PPs. It's not pretty but you can make out the borders in orange. As I need to paint more in, I'll do that when the time comes.

I have and have read the first two and can recommend them as enjoyable "alternate history" sci fi.

I've been meaning to acquire the last one and have never gotten around to doing so.

The premise is that the dinos never died out and an intelligent cold blooded species was already dominant as the mammals, and humans in particular, started coming of age.

Are these sequels to the James Dean movie "East of Eden"? You should see the 1956 movie "The Beast of Hollow Mountain" where this cowboy keeps getting his cattle stolen and it turns out to be an Allosaurus.
