Phantom Menace is poor. Its just not a good film. Its quite dreary in places.

However it does have the excellent sci-fi remake of Ben Hur in it. A great scene, even if marred by the 'ahem' comedy bits.

And the Darth Maul fight is probably the best scene in any of the prequels.

Viewed Stars New years Eve. I though it was good and enjoyed it.

I saw the film New Year's Eve and enjoyed it. Saw it with the GF and her 8 and 10 year old kids ... I was 8 when I first saw Star Wars with my mum and dad. It felt really nice to echo that experience.
