He pushed toward the 2 cities North of Moscow. I move in local Guards to power up the area.
I could use a tactical hold of these cites!

Also, I think I can now hold the 2 hexes just east of Moscow.

Last I hope to push mostly the southern Moscow flank.

final far south.

1 hold the mountain pass.
2 shoot the local general who allowed Kerch to be taken so easily
3 extract 1st guard infantry which I (stupid) moved closer to the south German panzers after I got too giddy from my Rostov attacks and supply cut.

I forgot that lower area in April remains clear.

Well. Here come the mighty German Mountain men.

A surprise by the depth of infiltration,

Causing angst in the high ranks.[:@]

I have to decide on full retreat out of area or can I hold them off and hold the mountain pass.

The first miracle of the war.

I have a tank corp at 50 mp which can reach major cut off spot.

It does not get air intervened.

Yes!

I then do a Cav raid deep behind lines pressuring supply lines and forcing a river crossing for supply.

I hope he will be cut off enough to limit next turn damage.

Yeah right!

Moscow area.

I consider this a big win as I regain the river line north of Moscow.

I think I have a good feel for where al his armor is. Not too many unaccounted for.
