Hi guys does anyone know where I can get a decent regional map of Europe for the year starting 1803? Because the lack of a clear map of the era is delaying progress on this mod, and is very frustrating.[&:]

So honestly, folks. It's not a question of uniforms. The core elements of the nations flags are the deciding factor for their counters. Prussia black. Russia green. GB red. France blue a.s.o. [8|]

And
Spain = Yellow
Austria = White
But sorry, Prussia should be grey, not black.

Hello Kirk
Try
http://www.davidrumsey.com/
There is plenty of historic maps (just type in the website search toolbar EUROPE 1800 or 1801 ect)
You can import with high resolution (makes big file to download but its really worthy)

Hm. Is there any game from the Napoleonic era that grey used as a national color for Prussia? So far I have found only variations of the black/white scheme. But if grey is more beautiful...maybe also pink for Austria? [:D]

I have no problem to try any colors and comments are welcome.
I just think that Black or white counters may lead to some graphic issues, but I can try.
In such case I may need to modify the numbers graphics colors (sometimes in black or white)
This is why I choose so far Grey for Prussia and a light Tan for Austria
But again I am really open and I will do some try's

[:(]Computer game...
No matter. Grey is also ok. As an old Prussian player, I was just a bit surprised. [;)]

Here is a test Black/white (dont be confused by the french units, evrything is in early stage design)
White (in fact 5% grey) is finally OK for future austrians
Black is so so....

What about dirty white counter with black bars like in Commander-NAW? But use light grey counter with darker bars if it is a better optic...

Yes. Yes. Typical South Island. First "Brexit" and then also a Prussian want to explain its colors...[:D]

Yes should be a good compromise
Its a shame that's there is only 2 graphic files for minors (cannot differentiate display for Polish, Italians, Saxons, Dutch and others Wurtemberger's)[:(]

You have many slots for infantries and for cavalry :

So far I have tried to increase the Allied Minor and Axis Minor graphics files, by numbering them similar to the Major Country files without success.
See example:
Allied_Minor_1
Allied_Minor_2
Allied_Minor_3
Axis_Minor_1
Axis_Minor_2
Axis_Minor_3
The game must be hard coded so that only 1 version of each Allied_Minor and Axis_Minor data file is recognised by the software programming,I would very much like to be able to create individual Country graphics for each of the Minor Countries in the game,but at the present time I don't think that is possible,at least so far I have failed in my attempts to individualise the Minor Nations unit graphics.[&:]

Yes, the unit sheets are hard coded.
A country individual diversification of units is difficult, in fact. The "Rise and Fall" OOB currently still has a lot of "general" unit types, which would rather be expected in a game at the regimental level. There would be some potential savings, without endangering the depth and feeling of the modification. In my post # 24 I had once showed a rough direction. All free slots after allocation of the "general" units can then be allocated for individual units of the Minors without compromising the general unit designation of the "localization" file.
What about the former tanks? If all tank related sound files were exchanged with those of a cavalry, the AntiTank, Recon, LightTank, MediumTank and HeavyTank could be used for mounted units. That would be 5 additional individual mounted units for each Minor unit sheet.
