The second Recon Co of the Trieste are engaged as units from the British 22nd Ar advance south. They retreat in good order but will become pinned against the minefields.

Turn 6 Planning...I have played this HORRIBLY! I need to coordinate the combined arms much better. Movement, Recon, utilizing available assets etc etc....
Man this one is tough...
There is one ray of hope. The movement of the British 22 Ar Bde south (in reaction to???) from their positions along the Asiagh Ridge, while the Pavia Div's Engineers have completed a breach through the multiple minefield belts, may lead to an opening....

Turn 6 Planning...In the north, the Axis continues to fire harassing artillery.
The Pavia Div moves through the breach and plan on advancing to the western edge of the Sidra Ridge. Air Recon is planned to their northeast.

As elements of the 15th Pz Div attempt to destroy the British recon in their sector, the remainder of the Division, along with the 21st Pz, pull south of the Ariete.

After 2 days of screwing up this fight (assigning Air Recon during "Night" turns produces nothing).......Finally some progress.
The breach of the obstacle belt west of the Sidra Ridge by the Pavia Div is offset by the fact that the divisional HQ's is still on the wrong side of said breach. The result is"Extended" supply to those units along the ridge...

In contrast, the Trieste Div and its HQ's are are the "right Side" of the breach, and its units are fully supplied. The attack against the flank of the 22nd Ar Bde units resulted in 50% loses upon those units.

Very cool AAR, bootlegger! I was wondering what software you're using to draw on the pics? I use HyperSnap, but I can't draw fancy curved lines and interesting shapes like you can.

Ha, nice! I didn't realize Paint had been upgraded to cool new features. I'll have to take it out for another spin. It's been a few years since I've used Paint.

I have not posted an update lately as Brian and Benedict gave me permission to post this AAR over on Facebook within a closed group of Wargamers. (Computer Wargames: Tactical to Strategic)
Great group of over 3000 wargamers that are serious about the hobby and give their opinions on various games (without the drama).
It is a closed group, but very easy to join.
