I was playing a scenario tonight and seen a Rapier launch about 4 missiles and shoot down a Mig -21bis, seems SAMs are to be feared in game...

we trained to fire the Ma Duece from inside the turret at Hinds. Amazing what a lot of .50 and .25MM (Bradley) rounds will do to rotary wing craft... and also HEAT rounds. At least we trained that way on simulators in the late 80's in 3ID.

I had a situation in game (early 70s or late 60s, IIRC) where I had to rush a helicopter battle position with a mechanized company + tank platoon because they got the ZSU first XD . The helicopters withdrawn a moment after all the MGs started shooting at them XD . IIRC one even got shot down XD .
