Summary: Axis resigned in March 1943, when Rome was on the verge by General Patton.

Game #24 outcome has been retracted, this stock has been changed from a [WIN] to [To Be Determined Potluck!!!]. This has turned into a one of the craziest games in competitive history! LOL.

1) Belgium Waffle
2) Russians get cocky, put Fortress beside Poland in mockery
3) Germans sweep South and crack the line
4) Russians lose additional units + HQ
5) Full Panzer Blitz towards Lennigrad
6) Partisan port in Brest allows Canadians + Few Yanks + Few Brits to land in France
7) British take Keil and dump misc units in Nortern Germany
8) Germans took Suez + Iraq, since the Indians & Brits went Kamakazi in early 1940 France to cause delay
9) The no-show Japanese at Pearl Harbor gave me the opinion Markiss pull a Slow Joe moment
10) #9, I was wrong, Japs are Sneaky! They land in San Francisco and find Carriers drinking beer, nice move

Alright, made my point. Getting out, Germany just too weak. This game seems to have some balance issues yet, Germany is totally overwhelmed by UK units by mid-1942. They don't even need the US to defeat Germany. In early 1942, the Wallies launched not one, but 2 full blown invasions of Europe. This is after taking massive casualties in an extended France fight. No way they should have those kind of resources so early in the game, Germany just can't compete with it.

It was fun for a while. Thanks for the game!

@Markiss --- Balance is pretty good. For Axis to win they gotta go cookie cutter, no time to waste. In our game, the timing for you was bad. I had pre-determined to go full-tilt within France. I brought all the British Units from Egypt, swapped out the AA-gun in Malta to tow along, and shoved as many contractors from India that I could green card sail to France. But that means nothing against the 4-Panzers you had. The turning point was somehow you didn't get Belgium while I was pre-determined to hardroll France.

Timing was lucky for me.

You needed to clear out Brest of the Partisan unit. Did you see it? That allowed me easy dump off in France and then swarm. Regardless, you had your moment in the Sun with the Japanese takeover of California.

Good game, if you want a rematch, let me know. You can pick sides.

Summary: Good guy this Helsingor, except he didn't resign & has dissappeared. Hopefully the Virus didn't get him. Like his style, wanna say he sent some smack messages and pulled off a daring "The Eagle Has Landed" raid of Southeast England. Only problem, and it was HUGE for me, the Allies. I got lucky, very lucky and happened to spot AV-Panzer in Netherlands port after he had already landed. I sent the all I had, sacrificing couple ships and a Carrier, maybe two Carriers to get that Panzer. If he lands that Panzer, bye-bye England and bye-bye Legend Hey pal, just resign. I do it all the time. Happens.

Summary: Went for new doctrine. Built Rockets and shelled London. Had Rocket Tech +4 in late 1944 when Germany was destroyed. Actually, I cannot blame the rockets. Germany toured Africa, took Egypt, and Iraq, only to sail home in transports. Was able to take Malta, BUT at a HIGH PRICE. Spent 4+ turns, maybe more so I could support the drive into the Holy Lands. This cost time & money along with them Rockets. Army Group Center got its ass kicked by attrition at Smolensk. Ethana1914 was able to pepper foolish Nazis trying to gain ground in sucky supply. Army Group South, the same. Took this guy for a newbie, since he played conservative. Thus the reason for Rockets. Was looking for him to make a mistake after my gamble. He didn't. He also won the carrier war. Battle of India Ocean, Post Pearl Harbor, and Philippines Sea he destroyed more carriers than losing.

Summary: Allies smashed on the Italian early, not the end of the world. Was able to take Malta. Should have been happy with that & left the MedFront with the Luftwaffe. Instead, Air Power was late to Barby. German forces also lost their minds getting involved in Finnish War, and Artic Circle war. Certain things can be taken as a minor battle loss, but I did the dumb stuff Germany cannot do in Russia. Not have enough Air Power for key city assault or fortifications. All, stay outta the marshes even if there is no other option. Marsh is death. Opponent outplayed me in Russia. Going toe-2-toe dishing out piece exchanges in Finland & Army Group Center/South. F-

Summary: This is twice I've lost because Italy cannot handle some pressure. Good grief. This game was looking SO GOOD. Until a swarm of Brit transports can snagging Italian cities. It's not like Rome or Sicily were gonna be taken. This sucked. Was absolutely rolling. Guess I cannot have Italians be geared up for anything useful anymore. Sucks. Once Italy surrendered, the entire Africa Group was toast in Libya.

Summary: Truth be told, Aussiematto played a most excellent game as Gerry. I soft-rolled him in Russia. Germans cracked fortifications around St. Petersburg/Leningrad. Gerry had 1st German Army attacking Leningrad directly, causes a Red rush of MMPs to save the key city name after the Socialist dude. Aussie (yes, he's from Australia), also took Stalingrad, soft-rolled on set-up. Wanted to take this match to the snow. Germany was doing well.

Why was Gerry doing well? Ivan soft-rolled. Uncle Sam was busy dealing with Aussie invading his own nation of Austrialia. While Aussie's play was good in Europe, not sold on his Pacific play. *Key mistake IMHO was invading on the Northern ports of the largest continent on the planet and invading directly for the capital w/o Southern port. Jap fleet's supply was draining, not moving, which is never good. Uncle Sam + The Kingdom took subs/ships to the people of Japan. Huge amounts of convoys destroyed, I mean huge. 1-sub was dishing 50/turn individually. As the Japs were delayed down under, Yanks snagged Iwo Jima, Okinawa, & build bases near the Islands, and sent ships to address the IJN.

He could have played on, certainly as Gerry. A better Operation Kangaroo and this game is different. Good game, Aussie!

Summary: EvilMachtin was in the wrong place and the wrong time with the Allied Navies. This dude had some bad luck. Early in total War, the Japs have just finished their early easy conquests. Germans had that port North of Singapore. German U-boat was raiding back/forth couple times West India. Decided to shift IJN West of Dutch Indies. Now, before I start, I built Carriers with the Japans. Repeat, had extra Carriers. Nothing crazy on the Tech, just LR-2 at the time. German Sub out for patrol, finds Royal Navy. IJN in a two turn battle, had to sink to 10+ Ships/Subs including couple carriers, don't think I even lost a ship given I had first attack.

Rolling forward couple more turns, IJN is back in Phillipines for minor repairs and pass out some Medals to Yomamota in Nagasaki. The U.S. Carrier group is spotted sniffing Northern Austrialia, probably heading West, maybe picking up stragglers from Indian Ocean. Maybe they were even there, no idea. Send out the entire IJN, sent the kitchen sink inside the Island maze below Phillipines between North Austrialia. Gave this guy some fish bait, sent midget submarine from Gilligan's Island. Yanks work him over, spot one of Carriers and a small Air exchange; Carrier vs Carrier. Little did he know, that was the Agaga which was +2 Elite thanks to some early training. He nearly sank it. Now, my turn. Full throttle, 8+ Carriers, 5+ Battleships, 2 Subs, Elite Destoryers. Bye-bye Yankees, the worst beating in history of the Pacific Ocean. Couple units ran, but to their watery grave on the next turn.

Meanwhile, at the same time, West of the Rock (aka Gibralter) the Yanks were getting worked over in Spain (land battle). I busted out the Italian Fleet + Germans snuck in. Yanks + British wiped out there. Nighty-Night. Game Over. Russia was the the usual. China, does it matter.

In Summer 1943, it was game over. No Allied ships on the board. Yanks wiped out in Spain. British/India stalled fighting the Turks. Russians, well, you know.

Summary: My opponent went with Tanks/Mech, no surprise. Saw 5 of them in France. Got the British outta harm's way, delay, took no losses for the Kingdom. How? Infantry was not upgraded by Gerry, MMPs were in Panzers, so I could work some magic in France. Russians blitz it all towards Moscow, snow hit on the perfect time. My efforts were in the South, figured, I'd send some troops there from Siberia, since Moscow it wouldn't have mattered, weather the best defense. Was able to stop the minors at Dnieper River line. Panzer/Mech got brave, kept heading East. Come on in, no infantry support. Popped & Dropped paratroops behind, supply 0. They ate snow. Had to be discouraging to him.

In China, I looked for spots, and found. He went heavy Army's in South. So I sent Artillery to the Center, got some work done there. Anything is good with China.

British had to do something. Not wanting to take any huge risks, since Allied partners had hope, went and took Norway, with British SF (from that script thing) and BEF + Egyptian Army which went to France and came home to travel.
