Didn't see an SA-21 here so decided to make one. It's unique to the vehicle so you just have to rename the SA-21s of the excel to the filename of the .obj included [:)]

Hello again fine lads, I made another pretty basic KC-135C, but instead, the refuel boom is extended instead of nonexistent. If you want this for cinematic shots its pretty easy to line two planes up, but yeah, figured i would just share here in case anyone was interested.

Also a hellfire/brimstone (theyre close enough, ok?) if that's your thing.

thank you for sharing. Btw, is there any technical way to add "Textures" to the mesh .obj file? It culd be nice to have the most often used planes textured properly instead of having plain blue/reds

Does someone know why some scenarios designed by users show the 3D models in TACVIEW in orange color for both sides, instead of Red and Blue for each side? Any hints that should be consider when creating the scenario for correct visualization in TACVIEW?

what is the reason that some scenarios do not show the correct 3D model in TACVIEW? for example instead Su-30, it shows a simple single engine/propeller model.

Please post this on the tech Support forum, with a suitable example file.

You should post it in tech support, but my guess would be that the Su-30 has a bunch of variants and countries and that particular one isn't set up for the custom shape. But no way to know with very limited info.

Hello folks! Got here a complete AEGIS package. SM-6, SM-2, SM-3, ESSM and a better looking Arleigh Burke all in one. Make sure to change associated weapons in the Excel file.

SM-6/2/3 and ESSM should launch properly from VLS cell area of the Arleigh Burke. Unfortunately they only fire out of the front, because the missiles can't be in two possible locations at once :D

Hello folks I get some 3d meshes. E-737 wedgetail, F-15E, and New F-35 model.

and I fix model's location of standardMissle 2 and Arleighburke class.

I hope you guys use well. Have a good time!

Thanks both!

I would only ask that you try to reduce the file size & polygon count on some of these shapes. Rendering can get pretty slow when there is a bunch of them on the screen at a time.

Hi erick33,

Your meshes are great. Question, do you create them yourself, I assume so. In that case what platform do you use for this and, for me, importantly, do you have a library capability that will show multiple mesh shapes at one time.

Thanks,

Actually, I didn't made it myself, I download original mesh from other site, and editing for tacview.

So it is hard for me to answer your question. sorry.

Hi erick33,

No problem. I am attempting some .obj file editing.
I found several applications on the internet and downloaded MeshLab as a start. Do you have any recommendations or preferences?

• Adobe Photoshop CC 2019
• Autodesk 3ds Max 2020
• Autodesk AutoCAD (requires import plugin)
• Autodesk Fusion 360
• Autodesk Maya 2020
• Blender
• CADSoftTools ABViewer
• Dassault Systemes SolidWorks (requires import plugin)
• Daz 3D Daz Studio 4
• IMSI TurboCAD Pro
• MAXON Cinema 4D
MeshLab
• Microsoft 3D Builder
• Microsoft Paint 3D
• NewTek LightWave 3D
• Siemens Solid Edge (requires import plugin)
• Smith Micro Poser 11

Thanks for your help.
-Wayne
