April 1942
Rangoon falls in our hands and we start our move North towards the Indian border. More importantly we discover that Calcutta is weakly defended by a Garrison unit and an American CL as our invasion fleet waits to attack India in the Andaman Sea…
We keep advancing South in Malaya towards the great port of Singapore.

May 1942
Irkutsk in Siberia finally falls in our hands.
After sinking the American CL Calcutta is captured after a brief fight. The port is captured level 4 and the Japanese HQ will have to wait in port to disembark next turn.

June 1942
Singapore falls in our hands. More troops arrive via Calcutta including artillery and a second port is captured further South with the town of Vizgapatam.

July 1942
By now 5 special force units (plus 1 embarked in Vizgapatam), 5 Armies, 1 para and 2 artillery units supported by 3 HQ are firmly established in India. Sir Lanka is also in our hands, covering our southern flank.

March 1942
After a period of refitting after the hard Winter in the USSR our troops are ready for the final battles against the Soviets. In the North von Manstein is struggling in his advance towards Leningrad. The isolated intrepid para unit was destroyed; only one 1 medium bomber wing is available for the time being with no artillery support.

The Moscow attack has top priority and all 3 available artillery units are assigned to the Army Group. General Rommel is transferred from Army Group South and now is in command assisted by von Leeb and von Rundstedt. Moscow is defended by many Infantry corps but no armored troops or Armies…

In the Army South area we are bypassing Rostov by the North towards Stalingrad… 3 bomber wings (now upgraded to level 3) are coming back from Rumania. General Kesselring is now alone in the area, with no reinforcements available for him in sight.

April 1942
The final offensive starts in shitty rainy weather, the Moscow fortifications are destroyed and the outskirts of the big metropolis are reached… Our paras isolated in Yaroslavl are fighting a desperate battle against 2 Armies!!??

Good progress in the South in nice spring weather… the Don river is reached in force near Rostov.

May 1942
Krasnodar is captured in the Kuban and Rostov isolated…

The German Reich Flag floats in the Kremlin!!!!!!!

June 1942
The Caucasus is isolated from the rest of the USSR. The NM city of Stalingrad is reached. Zhukov defends the great city.

In Army Group North von Manstein is finally able to isolate the city of Leningrad. Many important units of the Luftwaffe are now in the area to support the main assault.
The paras units in Yaroslavl are now rescued and Gorky is our next objective…

August 28 1942
Leningrad is captured… and Gorky is in great danger… Vologda was occupied by our paras cutting the railroad line bringing South the supplies from the Arctic ports... at least that was what I thought (as in WiE) but in WAW the convoys continued to arrive... [:-]

August 28th 1942
Stalingrad and Grozny both fall in our hands!!!.
Next turn a desperate Allied invasion of France fails due to poor preparation. The Allies surrender!!. Many thanks calcwerc for this great game . I am ready to start the return match now me playing the Allies!

In Abyssinia the last Heroic Italian defenders celebrate the end of the war after holding for more than 30 months!!!

Benito Mussolini flies himself immediately with his own plane to Addis Ababa to congratulate the victorious troops!!! A BIG bunch of medals are distributed among the soldiers and then leaves the area a week later… [;)]
