In 2018 I was playing against the AI for about 8 month IRL. When I quit I promised myself that I will not play this game again until I am retired in about 25 years. But here I am again. [8D]

They all come back.[;)]

Nah, my wife is already pretty well used to being neglected. Almost as much as she wants to be, lol.
No, I do make it a point to spend at least 2 hours with her watching TV every evening.

You may want to consider saving an early copy of the game as a separate save. Then you can more easily restart the game from a relatively clean point with all the initial set ups taken care of. Future saves then can be kept separately or over written depending on your preference.

But an early save can save you a great deal of time if you chose to do the scenario again at a later date.

I had a similar circumstance. That was, however, a promise to my wife. Being in the pastorate and the preparations that took AND being married AND playing WitP:AE were a bad combination. Then there was my favorite football team which collided with gaming in the fall. Things became rather heated, and it leaked into every portion of my life. I became so consumed with Witp:AE and wound up loosing my places in the threads - probably because it got me so fired up sometimes that I became /s8omwah [excuse me. Kitten just walked across my keyboard!] somewhat rowdy. Not sure now how it happened but I lost ability to get on the board. [I also have a very hard to control temper - inherited from my former Marine father, I am afraid! I have improved with some help from above!]
