the AI Assist is (sensibly) very averse to locating to supply poor airbases.

If you want it to deploy forward, get the local depot system up and running.

They're on flexible. I started building more depots and airbases on said depots.

ah,then its doing exactly what you told it to.

As above its not keen on a lack of supply and flexible more or less tells it to shuffle around where it is - so its not going to advance much.

You need it on advance and to make sure the HQ its following is moving up as well

The Soviets in general can very easily gather all their mechanised/armored divs and do this to any panzers that make the mistake of existing.

I've probably had an easier time of it than most, true, but the same happened to me against beethoven and I believe most other German players have experienced how easy it is to have a full PzD just get thwacked.

In my defence, I did want to shoot him last turn but didn't have the AP and forgot to do it before I attacked this turn.

The course of the game is set I believe. If he redirected forces to centre or North of Kiev I'd be in a spot of trouble but I'd just give up ground.

But yeh game should be set. Sadly.

It's a bit mad seeing Pz Div's with 150+ AFVs but only 5-6CV. It looks to me like he is neglecting to recharge their CPP at all.

They are exhausted from movement & no CCP. You are spot on.
