After another victory, Pompeius arrives in front of an enemy castrum. While it seems a merge of the last enemy armies will occur. At last, the AI is putting Spartacus in charge.

The garrison of Metapontum is engaged but the city is not failing to the enemy. The port is safe.

Crassus is ordered to move north to Croton. Enemy morale is strangely enough still high.

Disaster! Metapontum garrison is annihilated. Spartacus regains access to the sea.

To prepare the last battle, I am moving the three less damaged legions, under the command of Quintus Arrius, to join the army of Pompeius. Pompeius will lead the final battle.
Meanwhile, I am deploying the fleet to perform a port blockade of Metapontum.

I got a minor victory. I only destroy the rebels the last game turn. I have done plenty of mistakes:
1. Not building new units to put garrison in every city. I should have lost less cities.
2. Not trying to engage the pirates, this is only at the end that I have find their base in Spalatum.
3. Don't put your fleet at sea when it is raining in winter, I have lost a lot here.
Hope you have enjoyed this AAR and that you will do better than me next time you are playing this scenario.
