I don't know what this means, is it bad?

Broadly speaking, if CMO starts and you can load a scenario, nothing is bad. Most of the benchmarks you see here are for high-end CPUs so comparatively, your 2600 looks weaker. But that's only relative. It really depends on what you are doing with it. Very large scenarios might be slow, but you should be able to play most with no issues.

I forgot about this thread. I'll run a comparison using the legacy 32 bit and new 64 bit next week.

I slightly downclocked my performance cores to reduce crashes from some poorly optimized Unreal Engine 4 games I've been playing lately, so my slowest pulse times could probably be improved quite a bit if I overclocked this thing:

I have noticed that 1328.9 has significantly reduced time compression in the benchmarks.

Seems to have the chops to run the game quickly but the game plays very choppily on even moderately sized scenarios. *Puzzled*

Thought I would update my benchmark for the new 1328.10a version. I ran it twice just to compare. There is a little variability inherent in the scenario itself.

I'm posting two screen grabs of my rig's results. This one, below is from almost a year ago. Older 32bit build of CMO and my PC only had 8GB of RAM at the time. Pretty miserable results, IMO.

This one, below was done today with the latest 64bit build of CMO and an additional 8GB of RAM.

I noticed the minor improvement in performance with the benchmark. Probably due to both the code upgrade to 64bit and the additional RAM. Perhaps some refinements in the base code as well as the move to 64bit. I do have a new PC on order with updated hardware and software so I expect to see further improvements, not only with CMO and other games, but much of the software I currently use as well.

Nearly a 32% better, it is not minor.
And not a bad performance, you should see mine

I purchased a new PC the other day. 14th Gen i7-14700KF 3.4GHz, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070, a single, 1TB boot SSD and a 2TB SSD for storage. A 1TB SATA disk for back ups. Benchmark below...

That must be the improvement you were looking for
In the last version, v1.06.1328.11, the devs included:
Code: Select all
* Numerous performance tweaks on map/UI and simulation engine
Will you compare it with your 10a result?

Yea... I need to do some tweaking with the rig. This benchmark was "off the cuff." I'll try to run another one this weekend.

Indeed, discounting the 1315.1 regression, it is 45% faster (lower).
And all the RAM available is now displayed.

I don't know why it shows only 8gb because I have 16. Maybe that is the reason why the game runs very bad?
