Nice work! I wish I had your skills!
Thanks. You're much better with programming than I am. I wish I had that skill.
Honestly, I say download Wings 3D. It's free and the learning curve isn't as steep as some 3D programs. It's what I use. You'd probably get the hang of it pretty quick.

This will probably be what the finals will look like for the light tank unit line.

And here are the Mk I versions of Light, Medium and Heavy Tanks. Borrowing heavily from French designs of the 1930s.

Thought those tanks looked familiar. Char B1-bis seems to be the model for heavy tank

Meanwhile, on the aviation front, I'm going to start off the aircraft lineup with biplanes, followed by early monoplanes and the last plane in several of the lineups will be jet-propelled.
For inspiration in making this plane, I used the Bristol Bulldog. Though not a rigorous reproduction, it has that Bulldog aura, I think.

And to protect the carriers, here's my Carrier Fighter Mk I, also a biplane, inspired by the Curtiss P-6 Hawk, not rigorously true to the original but rather incorporating my own flights of fancy in the design (pun intended).

Good eye. The medium tank is roughly based on the Somoua.

Mk I torpedo bomber, modeled after the Vildebeast.

Here's the lineup of medium tanks. When the entire project is complete, I'll create a new post with a zip file containing all the graphics. In the meantime, the graphics can be attained from this thread piecemeal as I post them.

OK. Decision time.
Which view do you prefer for the subformation graphics, profiles or more 3Dish images from random perspectives?
My thoughts: A profile perspective would make it easier to distinguish different vehicles from each other. the only bad side is that it will involve more blank, unused space in the subformation graphic due to the fact that vehicles are usually longer horizontally and shorter vertically and the standard size graphic in ATG is about 200 x150, whereas a 3Dish perspective could be manipulated to fill the space better.
Thoughts. I really don't want to do both formats, so it'll have to be one or the other and you all can decide for me, since you all are the ones I'm hoping will use my graphics eventually.

OK. So starting on my project now. I think I have the infantry down to what I want. These are my level 1 versions. No paratroopers or SMG infantry. It's a little early for those kinds of weapons. However, for those who want paratroopers and SMGs, my level 2 versions should break into that territory. Ideally a modder can create a mod that spans versions 1-4 or if they want they can just use a single set to represent all versions and narrow the time period. As it stands now, I've got uniforms and weapons circa 1910-1920 for my level 1 units. A person could do a full scenario just with them and call them Rifle 1, Rifle 2, Rifle 3, Rifle 4 instead of using different versions for each level of Rifle subformation.

Instead of "guerillas", I have "partisans".

Well, I decided to turn the heads of the regular troops a little to the side so their headwear can be better seen and distinguished. Here's level 1 version 2.

A little bit of touching up on the Partisan 1 and Militia 1 with his head turned as well.
Note: The partisan is using a Martini-Henry rifle. The rest are using the Springfield Krag, except for the Elite Rifleman who is using a Gewehr 1888.

Realistically, people can use the various graphics for whatever they want. I'm just going to create a variety of units roughly corresponding to ATG subformation types.

A few more resources might make the game even more interesting. Here are "iron", "gold" and "rare minerals".

Nice! I never thought about making those kinds of graphics, and it seems real obvious now you have! What about one for manpower?

Maybe something like one of these for "manpower"?

Hmm... not sure I like the colored version...
The other version is ok, but not what I had in mind, exactly. Also it hit me that manpower would usually not be something you can produce in cities, rather something you got from owning cities (for instance). So it would be granted, and the graphic might never be visible...

i made an experimental mod once with Manpower and that's the way I set it up, owning cities = owning manpower and the more cities you conquer, the more manpower you take in. Probably no need for a manpower graphic.
I got a couple of oil graphics for your inspection, what do you think? NOTE: 100% original graphics too. Not a copied pixel in there.
