So the Allies get 24 early production Liberators called the LB-30. Macho reminded me today what these were and hit me in a little backwater that cost me ships and my pride.

I wasn't expecting this. US troops attack us in two locations this turn. One went undetected until the bullets started flying, and the second was completely surprising and probably didn't turn out how the enemy expected.

The Allies launch a shock attack a day after their last attack, and this one went more poorly than the last. I'm starting to get the sense that the Allies are getting desperate on Bataan. Their supplies must be low, and they're hoping for one last breakthrough before it's all over.

At Balikpapan, our attack starts, and it was a dismal failure. I am worried about what's going to happen next there.

Today is a prime example of what happens when you come in too light for an objective and underestimate enemy strength. Despite my best efforts, the enemy launches a major counterattack at Balikpapan and sends us running with my our tails tucked back to Samarinda. This is a major defeat.

Macho has been taking advantage of the moonlight and hitting us with night bombing for several days. It is worthless, annoying, obnoxious and a complete waste of my time!

We are still dealing with that obnoxious night bombing but I am not going to dwell on that now. We've got more important things to worry about, like China! Today we had another major breakthrough as we inch our way through the mountain passes toward Kienko.

March 2nd turn was so un-noteworthy I had nothing substantial in it to show, and it was as such skipped.

We're in the phase of the campaign that some of these turns are rather dull. I like to call this time the "Doldrums of March" where everyone is preparing for their next moves. Bataan has been a giant thorn in my side for months, and it's cost me a lot. I'm starting to get tired of looking at it, so we're going to start doing something serious about it. I want to flatten this place and be done with it once and for all!

I was wary about attacking Tuyun but I wanted to test how severely the Chinese supply situation was affecting their troops, so I elected to attack here. Despite being low on supply, the Chinese inflicted grievous casualties on our attack we we are completely repulsed.

This turn was almost a complete disaster. Because of this old and moldy UI and some inattentiveness on my end, I almost torpedoed my whole campaign. Fortunately Macho came to the rescue and helped me make things right. Come see what I did.

Despite Macho's utterly pathetic and dastardly attempt with the lame and cheesy Fortress Palembang Strat, we have stuck it to him with another massive win and capture of Balikpapan where the gracious Gary Grigsby Dice Gods bless us a clean capture of more oil.

My ASW efforts near Rangoon only had the negative effect of pushing his subs further south out of immediate view and into the direct line of my advancing ships. I'm paying the price for it now.

We've cleared the bulk of the sub threat north of Malacca Strait and it's now it's time to form up and head out toward the target. The name of the game now is protecting the troops embarked on the ships from air and surface sea assault.

We had a very easy win at Cebu today, and it's setting up the fall of the rest of the Central Islands of the Philippines. I am looking forward to closing out this chapter of the war soon and putting an end to the Allied Presence in this Region.
