Turn 33 January 4th 1992

Its 1992 New Year New goals

I really Hope everyone here has a Great Easter

I know there's not crazy action going on all the time but trust me this year is going go crazy just you wait I wanted to do one last Offensive before Cease Fire One last big one so heres the Plan

we are going push up from this area are supplies are fine at the moment (if it wasnt I wouldn't be pushing here in this area at all) I want to get more space the more he has to slog through the better we need all the buffer zones and space we can get I'm certain we will defend are self's I'm still very much NOT sure how to defend myself fully but I'll try too I got some ideas

This will be the last Offensive and Maybe last time I send any Pics this way we are going focus on the stuff brewing next door We will come back later too Croatia

I will still mostly show are defense plans of coruse and any changes from Secessionist side as they get stronger and more units from there side show up

Turn 34 January 7th 1992

Here we are folks

I must have been Wrong I thought Cease fire was at the 17th not 7th ugh anway

and the ceasefire has just dropped. And this one isn't going anywhere for a while — we're looking at three years of frozen conflict before Operation Storm rolls around in 1995.
Three years. That's a long time to sit on a front line.
Look at that red boundary running down the map. Everything to the right of that line is ours, and for the next three years nobody is officially supposed to be touching it. The Croatian interior, the hills, the forests — all of it sitting under Serbian/JNA control while the diplomats do their thing and the UN peacekeepers set up shop.

But here's the thing about a frozen conflict — it's never really frozen. Both sides know what's coming. The Croatians are going to spend every single one of those three years rebuilding, rearming and training. They're going to be ready when 1995 comes. And we need to be using this time just as wisely on our side of that line.
That front is long. Uncomfortably long in places. Right now adrenaline and momentum have been holding things together but three years of static defense is a completely different challenge. Supply lines, fortifications, More Units arriving all of that needs attention before Operation Storm arrives at our doorstep.

Because it WILL arrive. 1995 is coming whether we're ready or not.
For now, we hold what we bled for. The clock is already ticking.

And by the time this ceasefire ends? We could be looking at shock values scraping 20. That is a terrifying number for a force that is going to need to defend a long and stretched front line not sure if we will make it but lets Hope the line and defenses can hold for that long

For know the war in Croatia Ends so NO more fighting for a few years

So I forgot Last Turn but we did a Amphibious Landing Before Cease Fire

Yes a Amphibious Landing something unexpected happened I do like Historical stuff but Eh why not do something a little crazy

So I was planning to Land on 2 Islands I sent a MP to one Island I forgot there was a naval gun so he got blown to bits and the Ship Sinked killing all my troops on the ship but on the main Island we landed a Engineer and some Artillery I know a little overkill but I did not do very good recon I saw the Port Undefended but wasn't sure if there was other troops on the Island but the Place was a Ghost town

thankfully the Main one we took the town of Mljet we Succeed but I ran out of Supplies so we are Bailing out we got +1 VP from that didn't have to fire a single shot

Looks like UN Forces have arrived

so it seems from the Docs it says this

"UN Protected Areas (UNPA) in occupied parts of Croatia to protect local population and create buffer zones between combatants"

so the UN will bring some Benefits to Us for sure since we have taken a lot of Cities hopefully, they will be there to stop Secessionist from taking anything otherwise it will cause worldwide Outrage and I dont think he's going risk that

the downsides is that we cant take a city with a UN Unit in it I talked about cites before but there real Plus to takeing them is not for the VPs but to deny him troops Yes if you take a city in the Scenario he cant have troops in that town come in next turn that was his mistake up North that he made at the beginning of the game witch allowed me to have free troops for a town he forgot about lol

Anyway they are here know going be pain in the ass to try to take a town and hope they don't show up before I do

No you cant Disband them lol
