This game would be even more appealing to me if the 'past 1945' option for Axis forces is included. I strongly advise you to consider this carefully, since it is the stuff every wargamer dreams off.

Ditto for pre-1940 scenarios. What are the chances of seeing at least a 1939 scenario and possibly a 1938 pre-war scenario at some point?? Will we be able to create/edit scenarios at all?

Few things bugged me though. First i hate having an end time..above it said ther will be a 1945 cut off....i feel this is horrible! If you are in control of a country...you decide how far you will go..or how fast you are defeated. Leave it up to teh gamer!

There is a unofficial patch "no time limit"

I uninstalled HOI also, never went back. So, so many problems.

As to GGWaW I always hoped some one would make a better A&A. There are literally thousands of A&A players out there that would never touch a "Big Game" but played A&A with passion. I love a wide variety of games and play suiting my mood. The addition of WiTP and GGWaW will be very welcome in my gaming library.

I am still wishing for a game that combines all elements. A game like GGWaW for strategic/operational level considerations and when combat breaks out in an area you have the opportunity for command/control over a more localized/smaller battle space. (Like clicking on Guadalcanal as it is in UV but getting a blow up more detailed map) But alas, Im not getting any younger. [8|]

I too gave up on HOI...so much promise, but their insistance on using the EUII game engine ruined it for me.....call me an OFTBG'er (Old Fart Turn Based Guy) if you want, but real time ruined HOI for me.......
