posted 20 new ships to spookie 5 allied 15 Japanese
plus all subs produced so far have just come out of dry dock with wakes removed as per TankerAces suggestion

I love the work on your ships,(especially the wakes on the PT type boats and the aircraft over the Soryu).The only thing I don't like are the gunflashes.For me,they intermingle color-wise with bomb damage in battle....[:D]

Well, US carriers (Essexes anyway) had the capability to steam backwards at a bout 20 knots, and recover aircraft over the bow. Don't think it was ever used in practice though.
