That looks like a photo my aunt gave my parents asa gift(she's a photographer from Australia) as part of a framed series of pics. Can't remember the name but it's from the northern territory in OZ I think. Famous mountain over there.
Then again, I could be wrong.
That's why I said nobody would know where it is - it somewhat resembles
Link: Ayers Rock in Australia, but in fact it is pretty much on the opposite side of the globe, in the scottish highlands. We just camped on the foot of this little hill, which is actually far smaller than it appears - the terrain is ascending, which makes it look like it is farther away. Lucky as we were, the sun went down over some hills behind us, and I shot the pic when the shadows just reached its foot, which makes it look reddish, while it actually had the same color as the ground in front.

Correct. USS Alabama.
I am from the UK, but I am working for 3 months in Atlanta. I get to do some weekend sightseeing. Charleston (USS Yorktown, Laffey), Warner Robins AFB, Mobile (USS Alabama), NAS Pensacola. I may have to miss USS N. Carolina, 7 hours each way to Wilmington is a bit too far for a weekend, I need some rest. [>:]

Kev,
Please tell me you got yourself to the NAS Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum?
I used to eat lunch there all the time.

Donno if it works when she'll be my wife...common knowledege is that difference between fiancée and wife is 20 lbs [:D].
Cheers,

If you think Pensacola's museum is good, you should check out the Air Force's in Dayton, Ohio.
That place is INCREDIBLE. Feinder and I spent 2 days there, and then realized there was another entire building back inside the base where they were doing the restoration work.
Whenever I look at my paystub and the tremendous amount of money that is in the deductions column for taxes, I just tell myself that my trip to the AF museum was free, and THAT is where my taxes are going.

I did, I was only able to spend 4 hours there on Sunday, due to the trip back 'home'. I could have easily spent another full day there if I had the time. Great collection, and other exhibts. I spent half an hour debating the battle of Midway with one of the guides as well. Good job everything was indoors though, it sure did rain on Sunday.

I asked one of the guides that question. He said that the only damage was to some of the doors, which allowed some water in, other than that the place stood up well to the onslaught.

I don't see many babes on this thread![:D]
Most of you guys must be happily married individuals![:D]
I'm a happily unmarried individual. I keep posting babe-a-licious photos (no nudity, but the women are - shall we say - hung with the looks), but the mods keep tossing them off. May be that they're a little risque for some tastes...
I think that "tossing off" was what they were afraid of... [:D]
