Unfortunately, I have some bad news as well. My local Best Buy just told me that it "isn't even in the system". Sounds like DD will be my only option.

I know the naval warfare guys have it......shipping in 1-2 days.

All the EBs in Alexandria and Arlington Virginia are sold out or haven't gotten deliveries. My impression is (I think similar to others) that the EBgames outlets only took in one or two copies and now they're going "oops, our bad." [:@] Best Buy has no idea about the game either. Guess it's download time tonight...

But last week the Future Shop in Québec city was not even having you on their computer info, so I just walk and pre-order at EBgames, now I plan on camping their shop until their lazy delivery guy get my copy there! Althought the seller at EBgames was kinda dimwit and I have to tell him 2 or 3 times sentences like: ''No, I dont want Act of War or World of Warcraft, I really mean World at War!''.

Wall Mart is evil and I would NEVER willingly buy anything from them. Die Wall Mart die!

EBGames in NH has them, called two and both received copies this morning (2 each I think).

Tuesday (3/29/05) status report for Houston, TX:

Best Buy - never heard of it.
Fry's - don't have it
CompUSA - 3 on order
EB - none in stock in the entire Houston district, try again in a week.

Long time lucker here and own a couple of MG's games. Long time fan of GG and I have about 90% of all his games (including the DOS ones [;)])

Just an FYI...I ordered WaW from Electronics Boutique online www.ebworld.com

Availabilty report: Wednesday, March 30: Still no joy in Houston. Had to drive 183 miles to Tyler, Texas on business....cell phone in hand. I checked at several large towns along the way: no joy. However, in Tyler a Hastings store had had one copy and sold it on Tuesday. A Game Stop said they might have one in today's shipment. I drove straight there and helped open the box. I now own that copy of WaW. Best Buy in Tyler and elsewhere still has never heard of it.

Fry's 80 copies on the shelf! Canceled my EB order and picked it up at Fry's Much happiness[:D]
The Fry's down here has a very good PC section, and a lot of wargames. Not just the RTS ones, but Strategic Command, Combat Mission 1&3, and Titans of Steel as well.

No sign of it on the CompUSA web site. I have a gift cert there from Christmas so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll get it eventually.

Of course as soon as I get my online order delivered from EB, I passed by the New Orleans store and they have 1 copy on the shelf.

Oh well, just happy to have my copy.

By the way, I lived in Tyler for 3 years. I put 2 guys through college at that Gamestop.

Tyler is a great place because it has most of the amenities of a big city without the same measure of crap.

I will retire there one day.

I got mine at Fry's today. I was suprised they got it in so soon.

Just go mine from Amazon.ca. I ordered it on March 28th, so I'm very impressed at the speed in which it reached me. Now how do I bail on my weekend plans with the family.

Got mine at GameStop today Jackson, MS. Only one on the shelf.[:D] Fry's and Best Buy did not have it.

Got mine yesterday at EBgames (N.Queen, Toronto). It was the one and only copy the store had shipped in as it did not want to overstock "niche" items! Other 4 local EBgames also probably only stocked 1 copy each (Toronto/Mississauga border). Local Walmart(Canada) store did not have it stocked yet.
