Oh... yeah... sure... like WHEN you sim will make any difference to Washington!

BAH! [:@]

Whitey Herzog can [expletive] my [expletive] on an [expletive] day!

[:D]

Much better now. That treatment is working.

2 weeks to go. Giants clinched. Emerald Division is up for grabs. Akron's magic number down to 5. Brooklyn still in contention in the Diamond Division.

It pretty much always was like that for Washington.

Fortunately for me, I play the game because it's fun... not because I can win. Seem pathetic? Perhaps. However, pessimism almost always ensures good results! Expect the worst and get it; mission accomplished. Expect the worst and get the best, good for you!

Okay, that's poor rationalization. When it comes to me and winning, I think I'm just allergic to the stuff. Portland didn't do any better in Shaun's puresim MP test league.

Absolutely something you learn in Cleveland.

I have just logged in as comissioner and downloaded all roster moves and lineup changes that were on the server as of 11pm EST 10/4/05. I'm now installing the Gold Edition upgrade so any future roster moves will need to be done with the Gold Edition.

P.S. I will suspend simming tomorrow and not sim till Friday, in case there are any upgrade issues.

Possibly there will be no problems as when I loaded the association, I didn't get the usual "Upgrading Association" message. Roster moves from the older version may be compatable I suspect.

Maybe the Cavs will do it this year. [:D][;)][:@][:D][;)][:@]

Got the Matrix 1.0 edition. I copied the files from my PS Gold Edition PSA folder into the new Matrix Games edition PSA folder without any problems.

Absent any objections, we will resume simming tomorrow, 10/07/05.

I confess that I have not yet upgraded. Dandric, when is your deadline for managers to do so?

I haven't set one yet. Let's say no simming till Sunday, so Sunday noon will be the deadline.

Good deal Dandric, thanks!

Let me ask you something though, what does a person need to host/run a multiplayer league? Aside from the obvious (players, a computer, an internet connection, electricity in the home).

Chris Johnson;

Since I downloaded a Milwaukee update this AM I assume you got the file ok and everything is working?

All;

I will sim today at noon and upload the new file shortly after.

Looking at the set of 74 - 63 standings, I wonder: Do you sim 1 day at a time and then just post after the week? Just wondering.

Maybe I should rest my starters to set up for the post-season rotation. [;)][:)]

I usually sim the whole week at a time, once I did sim each day separately. This time I was simming the week, saw the 4-way tie and quickly hit <Alt><PrtScrn> I thought at first I was too late to capture the screen, but it was on the clipboard.

Ooooh, it's down to the wire... I'd actually given up on Cincinnati and was looking to bench some older players so they wouldn't get hurt for next season. The next series is against St. Louis.
