The new blizzard rules seem to be fairly historical as a stong axis(infantry line) can defend without suffering shatters and thus keep the line unbroken. Flexible defence is the key after the first few turns.The lose of a few cities and captured ground is a small price to pay for keeping the Panzerwaffe safe and growing during this period.

I will not bore you with numbers i let the cowards Loki tell you his own losses.Red Army is advancing and Loki has started to throw in his PZ-Div in the defence to no use.We will win !!!!!!!

Stalin is proud to let the world know that we have pushed the facist invaders almost all the way back to Kiev.Stavka has assured the great leaders that Kiev will be liberated in a week or 2.Losses for the Germans have been to heavy for there fronts.They are pulling back all over.But the Russian airforces have hade a hard time.The quality of pilots in Luftwaffe is impressive.
The war would be over if these facist dogs would have been staying in the west!

Update
As the Blizzard season draws to a close in the VarjagerWar (1st/March/42) the front has stabilised with over 13K Axis Infantry losses and no panzer losses (about 1.2 to 1.5 K if infantry lost per blizzard turn). Commissar Varjager has pressed hard on the Axis line and extracted his pound of flesh. The Axis front has given up only 1 or 2 hexes in some areas and up to 6 or 7 in the center that started of 2 hexes east of Kursk. There wil no doubt be much reorganisation on both sides over the comming months as the summer season draws near. The direction of the comming Axis '42 campaign is one of the most closely guarded sectrets of modern times.
A salute from OKW to Stavka for a well organised and executed winter attack.
The MuzrubWar (23/11/41) has not entered blizzard yet and Premier Muzrub will pay dearly to the Axis for laging behind. Loki has learned many lessons.

14/12/41
Premier peasant Muzrub advavanes all along the front. The first turn of Muzrub blizzard resulted in 3 retreats. Ha!!
22/3/42
The VarjagerWar is now 3 turns past blizzard and german infantry forces have pushed back the line in one or two places while the panzers move forward. The luftwaffe is straffing many soviet airfields to dust with over 1500 soviet air losses in the last two turns. The bean counters in the rear have informed Loki that 8000 Panzers and 9000 aircraft are ready for the '42 campaign.

Another of these dictators wannabies.We the proud defender of Russia welcomes Loki´s childish attempts to win a war only by proaganda.Russia has its units well entrenched for the second Facist invasion.We will soon have a victory parade in Unter der Linden for our Red Army Heroes!

Our men are gaining much needed experience in this bloody conflict. We shall push on until victory is achieved and we stand alone the victors in Berlin.

As the two stalins have no doubt deduced. Loki's plan during '41 was simply to push the soviet line back into the soviet heartland. Attacking Moscow and Leningrad was not part of the plan.
1941 was the set-up for 1942.

MAJOR OFFENSIVE ALONG THE FRONT!!!
STAVKA REPORTS OVER 153,350 NAZI DEAD AND WOUNDED IN THIS WEEK ALONE AND 1270 GUNS.
The smashing of 2,558 squads and the loss important town centres will have an effect on Nazi abilities to fight!
As the Nazi hordes take losses, we gain experience and strength!
We shall continue our move to West!.....One does wonder what were the lessons learnt against Varjager in an earlier campaign on the Eastern front (Where Varjager smashed Emperor Loki's Imperial Guard in 1813) have gone!
