These are great pictures! How much was it to get into the musuem?
Did they have models of the aircraft available for sale?

It is along the gulf coast only about an hour from the USS Alabama (see the other thread for pics of it)

That wasn't a picture of an SOC-3 Seagull you have but rather an J2F Duck. THe Seagull had the option (like the Kingfisher) to have the pontoon be removed and replaced by the landing gear. The Duck was built by the Grumman corporation it had the pontoon built as part of the airframe. It was a pretty tough customer and was used through out the war by the USN and USCG. The USN used it early on in the war on some of thier cruisers until about 1942 when it was replaced by the SOC-3 and OS2U. From there the J2F's were removed back to base support back stateside. The USCG used them in places like Miami, Norfolk, Outer Banks, Vancouver (WA), Key West for ASW missions and SAR support.
