Sorry, but that sounds like the old "We were just following orders" revisionist schtick to me, and lazy scholarship on the part of the author.

I suggest you check out the book before you condemn the author as lazy. Corum's work covers the Luftwaffe's genesis and development from 1918 - 1940, and includes an overview and history of the WWI Ger airforce. He draws heavily on German language archival sources, and his overall bibliography is 23 pages long.




I agree with Logboy that it is a very interesting read.

The ship can do an 8-gun broadside. If I'd made them LS and RS, then there'd be trouble.
