Two BB provide 8 (modified to 7,5) points in shore bombardment.
5 CVP provide GS (one CVP is not shown in picture with two points in GS making the GS total to 11 with a maximum of 7,5), with one FTR providing escort. Japan has additional CVP that can fly intercepts.
USA has one FTR2 that can either intercept, or fly defensive GS. Note, that if the FTR2 is used, it may only land on the combat hex.
Use the FTR2?

Sorry for late reply, I had a 30 hour international travel going on. Please fly FTR2 as DAS. I think that's the only decision.

Both sides rolled an abort.
Edit: The US FTR2 lands in the combat hex as it is the only one within reach.

I had a bug where it said that CVPs where destroyed as they had no carriers to land on. This is obviously wrong as they could land on the carrier they flew from.
Any advice?
I will try later on to see if I can avoid the bug.

How about if you fly all your fighters as escorts and don’t fly US plane. If US plane has range to escape after invasion we just have to get it destroyed.
