John, I know your fighter pools are running on the springs. Did strategic bombing cut down production at any point?

Not whatsoever. Dan has never seriously targeted any of my fighter factories. Just out due to USE!

The Air-to-Air result today is quite nice. A good chunk of these fighter losses occurred over Singers where Dan placed a Squadron of P-38 and P-51 on LRCAP over the base trying to stop my bombing of his ground units there. It didn't work out too well for the Allies.

Tomorrow will see a CAP Trap set on a scale never before tried. Over 700 Fighters are placed on CAP over Osaka. To do this, Japan seriously weakens Air Defense over Yokohoma and Tokyo. Eight new AA units arrive and will open up tomorrow. We hope to administer a serious sting here on may 11, 1945.

Did someone tell my opponent that bombing my aircraft/fighter industry might be a GOOD idea??? Gifu was plastered this round. No CAP during the morning but the B-24 ran into 125 angry Japanese Fighter pilots in the afternoon.

We even sank some ships during the day! Tiny but satisfying...

Those ships you've been sinking are ... 1 point each? Doesn't do a whole lot to delay the ceremony in Tokyo Bay. But it's probably satisfying.

It would be funny if the Soviets were activated right on the last day. [:D]

The irony here is that both CV TFs make it past the guardians without being seen. Both could use another day to get in position but we'll light them up tomorrow and see if we get lucky...
