Have a look through this thread, it is at least 50% of people saying they have problems because of the mod, as far as I remember it is never the mod's fault.
Use the tech support forums for your issue.

Seriously though, it is your start up settings, on one of the last screens in game set up you choose your starting conditions, you are setting it up as Normal rather than Prewarp. In the first screen when you choose Galaxy age you have a very similar setting for all randomly generated AI empires also which you can set as Prewarp, Normal, or later stages of development.
This is all assuming you are using the Custom settings for game start and aren't choosing one of the presets.

Yeah sorry about that, edited my initial post... I didn't realize that installing the mod changed the settings I had been using before.
Oh I just started the new game and its fine but I was wondering about 1 thing I have a small minority population of securans (Im mortalen) I apologize if this is also nothing to do with your mod but it never happened in vanilla to me, since it's pre warp it doesnt make sense having an alien species on the planet

As a beginner should I use this mod or wait until I know the game?

Excuse me again,
i'll reask my question: Is there any possibility to have all new race details and descriptions out of game (wiki/forums)
or
Is there some easy way to compile it?
The mod work perfectly, and i am doing sountrack mod based on Extended Mod race list.... It would be very very helpful to see all consolidated Race info in this thread / on wiki

So does this expansion make the game any harder or confusing?

No, it just adds more races, more playing strategies, and more diversity with foes you can meet during play.
Also it makes game somewhat more "darker" because of more realistic, grim Race art.

I am having an issue described here:
tm.asp?m=3657752
Basically, I am setting research to 400k but all the other AI players are getting stock standard research, while I am getting the 400k slow research. The setting reads in the setup for a new game that the setting is a global value and not just for the player, so how is this happening for me?
Could this be an issue with this mod, or is this a bug ? I cannot imagine noone else is having the same issue.

Start a new game without this mod and see if you get the same problem. I seriously believe that the Extended Mod is not the probem.

It isn't, it took him 43 years to get out of his home system. He's just really really bad at the game and probably needs some playtips.

You seriously just want to be a condescending wanker in 2 threads now?
This isn't my first rodeo, you come off like a kid on the x-box forums ranting about how bad someone is.
I am looking in the game editor every few years and the AI is getting 10x the research I am despite my cap for research not being anywhere near reached. So please, do tell why that might be.
Otherwise just stfu because you really don't have a good answer to the question and just went with the simplest idea your little ego could come up with and followed me into 2 places I asked the question just to make sure your ego was TOTALLY satisfied.

Yeah when I am in need of help, you are gonna be right at the top of my list of people to ask man.
As it is, thanks to the suggestion of Fishers of Men (who you were telling not to even bother with me with) I took out the mod and got weirdness with the race menu which was still bringing up some of the race selections from the mod - so some files seem to have been misplaced when copying.
The reason I wasn't accurate about the 43 years to get out of system was that I knew it was irrelevant to what I was saying - which was the behaviour I was seeing through the editor - which you blatantly just ignored.
Someone intimately knowledgeable about such things might've been able to pick up on that behaviour and just said flat out what it was - thus I asked the question.
So, it's ok, you are off the hook and can now feel free to hover around the forum being a dismissive douche-bag to whoever else might ask their question next.
