It was a knife fight and most of his damaged vessels are deep inside your zone so they probably will be hunted down and killed. His big goal now is to get the Lexington out of harm's way.
Let's hope so. The POW was only in one fight, took several good 36 & 20 cm hits. She ran out of op points either thru refueling or damage or both and only made 1 hex.
I want to finish her so badly.

Incredibly no other fights during the night...which is bad since my ships are created for night fighting.
During the morning the Aussies show up, and right off the bat the Nachi eats a few 8" shells...but then we find the range and all is good.
LeTriomphant is my favorite Allied ship!

Then this strange ABDA fleet shows up and fights remarkably well...the Java does take a couple of 20cm hits.

The massive firepower on the Oscar manages to bring down absolutely none of the Buffaloes.
There should have been more naval fights...

But the Oscars are good enough to know the bison out of the air allowing free access to the Sonia.

The Allies are holistically playing....the beasties came yesterday here too. Luckily they are doing port or runway strikes so the oil and fuel is not being savaged.
The 500 pound bombs hit a battleship, cruiser, and a DMS. All survive...for today, in these conditions, I will take that trade.
Oscars aren't that good against beasties, but they try.

The Pete pilots are absolutely clueless....they haven't been trained for this. But, my oh my, do the Zero's know what to do!
And then they are thru, in the backfield...downing divebombers. Is it enough! Is there enough time and ammunition to stop the attack and protect my little babies?

No, oh my. Baby carriers attacked; a destroyer attacked, a battleship attacked, a heavy cruiser attacked.
Oh my![X(]
Man those flak guns! Circle!

But the Zero's want more! The pursuit begins.
