Land Combat.
(1) Tactical error (I think) on the part of the CW to take the 5-3 RSA inf corps for the loss and leave the 6-4 UK inf corps.
(2) The reason, the 6-4 UK inf corps was flipped (by the artillery ground strike) and the 5-3 RSA was not.
(3) So in retrospect, the CW would have been better served I believe in taking the flipped 6-4 inf as the loss and leaving the organized 5-3 inf.
(4) Do you agree? Opinions?

Turn 10. Mar/Apr 1941. Axis #2. Impulse Assessment.
BRIEFS.
(1) Before assessing the elements of GER-WAR-70, "Lance" BOD Enclave; I thought that that would have been graded as a FAIL.
(2) However; Germany did meet 3 of the 4 elements of that directive as laid out during planning so they did get a PASS on that directive.
(3) This taught me that it does pay to lay out the elements prior to any dice (die) rolling and evaluate afterwards accordingly.
(4) Also, Germany most likely will get a second bit at taking via blitz SE1-Bordeaux.

Turn 10. Mar/Apr 1940. Allied #3. Impulse Planning.
Weather & Weather Forecast.
(1) Fine weather across the globe turns horrid except for fine in the north monsoon (Southern China).
(2) 3 advance will shorten this turn; but the allies are guaranteed at least 1 more impulse unless the axis pass in which cases it's 80 to 90% that they will.

German U-boat & Italian Sub Threat.
(3) A tactical basing error by the Italians (La Rochelle vs St-Nazaire) has placed the entire Italian sub force (4 Gps) out of supply.
(4) The implication of this is that if sortie, Germany U-boats would also have to sortie to the same sea area(s) and search.
(5) A more serious implication is that Italian subs lose 1 in movement (i.e., sea box that they can reach), which for storms negate Italian sub threat to the US East Coast since their sub Gps that have the range to reach the East Coast could only make the [1] or [0] box.
(6) Storms, due to preventing USN carrier operations, have reduced allied ASW in the North Atlantic from 13 to 11, East Coast from 10 to 7 and eliminate +1 search bonus in both (i.e., 4-range CVP can't fly).
(7) Storms have reduce Ge/It sub risk in the North Atlantic from 7.6 to 7.2 (minor) and in the East Coast from 4.7 to 2.2 (significant, but still some risk).
