necessarily need to add
Dodge WC51
YaG-10

It would be nice to add Stalinets S-2 and Ya-12 also
I hope H.Balck will allow us to do so

About Bicycle Infantry
I think it is a nice recon unit for Germany

Could you please tell me the date when they entered service and their speeds?

What about the Zis-42M btw? If you want this one included, please tell me its entry into service, speed and what it was used for.

Does that article say what was the biggest unit size for the cyclists?

but I see that the ZIS-42M added to the game
I think that you mean ZiS-42M with 37-mm gun 61-K (ZiS-43). January 1943.

What a ... fudge?! Clearly I have implemented more soviet units than I can remember. Yeah, H.Black reworked that truck and I have it again in my working folder, hence the confusion.

Anyway, I`ve updated the entry with the correct data now. Thank you! I`ll add the other two next.

Just for reference I will post here a list of Romanian aircraft that is valid up to 1943. Afterwords a few more types (4 I think) would be required, but I`ll leave those for another time.

I`ll group the aircraft not by category, but by camouflage colours so they`re easy to sort. I`ll try to link so images showing colours so many will be of miniature models.

Romanian Michael cross - there were many versions of this, but it`s best to stick to something simpler, like this:
http://moderndrawings.jexiste.be/WW2Dra ... 633B-2.htm
and avoid the one you previously put on the Blenheim because that had a rather limited use.

1. All PZL aircraft, the Bf 109E and even the Potez 633 can be made with the same camouflage - dark green on the upperside and light blue on the underside.

PZL P.11c
http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/12825 ... ntry190397
http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/14072 ... ntry209913

PZL P.11F - Romanian P.11F had a locally built engine and the most evident aspect of this compared to the Polish P.11c is the different propeller cone so the change needed to transform your PZL P.11c into P.11f is minimal. You can see the difference here:
http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/4007- ... ntry110171
And this is how it looks like:
http://modelingmadness.com/scott/preww2/pol/pzl11f.htm

PZL P.24E - again with the locally built IAR engine so the same propellar characteristics as the P.11F. Note that this one had a closed cockpit.

PZL 23

http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/13765 ... nesc-nr64/

2. The Hurricane Mk.I and the Blenheim Mk.I kept the original British camouflage so you only need to replace the British markings with the Romanian ones on your models.

Hawker Hurricane Mk.I late - same camouflage as the British, but with the Romanian markings
http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/13626 ... ntry203605

Bristol Blenheim Mk.I - the exact same camouflage as the British Blenheim, but with Romanian national markings
http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/50/pics/12_3.jpg

3. - the IAR 80 and the SM.79B were painted with British paints (same dark-earth and dark-green on the upper side as for the Hurricane Mk.I and blue sky on the underside). You`ve largely done a good job on the IAR 80 in this regard.

IAR 80 - your model is very good, but please remove the bar/rod/antenna from the right wing. It only had a pitot tube on the left wing in reality.
http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/12236 ... 80__st__40

SM.79B - the same as your SM.79, but without the engine in the nose and a different nose configuration. Same colours as the IAr-80 and similar camouflage style.

http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/12398 ... ntry185179

4.

He-111H - basically the German camouflage with Romanian markings

5.

He-112 - it was painted entirely with one colour (RLM 02):

If you want to add a reconnaissance plane you can make one of the IAR-37/38/39 - at this scale a single one of them would be fine. To keep things simple you could use the same dark green and light blue as for the PZL aircraft.
IAR-39 - camouflage is dark olive green

Does anyone know what type of plane Rudel flew during the invasion of Poland?

I`m gonna add the German reconnaissance planes to the game and I was thinking to update the Poznan scenario from DLC `39 that has Rudel fly a Ju-87 as a recon aircraft.

@Brazenman the mortar units will not be added right now, because, as I`ve said, I`d need a free to use sound and then adjust some animation to match that firing sequence, but I`ve assembled the battle cards and you can find them bellow.

Cool!
It was very kind of you.
Thank you!
I have seen many mods where mortars are used. And I hope that I can find sound and animations.

I would be very grateful if you make battle cards for NKVD Infantry and 76.2-mm Regimental Gun Model 1927-M "Bobik" with naval crew.

I must admit that I am a complete ignoramus in the graphic, and I can not make them itself.

It`s not complicated and after enough time it becomes sort of mechanical. It`s just boring and time consuming. You can use a free program like Gimp to make the battle cards. If you want to learn at some point I can tell you how.

The units are bellow. You can use the same offset values as for the Regular Infantry and regular Bobik gun.

@H.Balck if I implement the current set of British aircraft (16 units by my count) will you release renders for the rest? I think there are 11 remaining, but most of them are actually sub-versions of the Spitfire and Hurricane so they shouldn`t be that complicated.

I don`t have time to make a detailed tutorial with pictures right now so I`ll just write the steps and if you have any questions I could detail more.

You need to have Gimp installed:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIMP

For the sake of the demonstration let`s say you`re trying to make cards for the French Renault AHN. You`ll have the following files:
Renault AHN l - the truck facing left
Renault AHN l+++ - shadow for the same direction
Renault AHN r - the truck facing right
Renault AHN r+++ - shadow for the same direction as above

In Gimp go to File->Open find the Renault AHN l file and click open.

Right-click the file, go to Edit and click Copy. You can use keyboard shortcuts too, but I`ll stick to the mouse clicks here.

Then open the shadow for this file, namely Renault AHN l+++. Right-click the file and go to Layer->Transparency->Color to Alpha. A small panel will appear showing you the preview. Normally the white color is selected by default so all you need to do when the panel appears is hit the OK button.

The shadow file will now contain alpha/transparency. Right click it and go to Edit->Paste. The image of the truck (which you`ve copied earlier) will appear on top of the shadow. Just click away to deselect it and this merges the two. You don`t need to adjust the position of the truck; it will automatically be pasted in the correct position (I`ve had some exceptions along the years though).

This is your left facing truck with shadow. Do the same thing with the files for the right facing image.

After you have the two, go to the main GIMP window and click File->New. A small panel will appear. Here you need to change both Width and Height values to be 296. Then click on Advanced Options and change the box Fill with: from Background color to Transparency. Then hit OK. This is the card in which you`ll place the two truck images (by copy-pasting them in and positioning them one at a time, of course).

Now actually begins the tedious part since you need to place them correctly. I recommend you go to View->Zoom and choose 800% for example. You can chose some other zoom level, but you need one that allows you to discern the individual pixels. As you move your mouse on the image you`ll notice that in the bottom-left corner you can read the coordinates of each pixel. I prefer to start with the unit facing left (Renault AHN l+++ in this case) which should go in the top-right part of the card.

As a general rule, the botom pixel of the wheels/tracks should be at around height 92. As far as the horizontal position goes you may choose whatever you want, provided it stays in its side of the card (the width is 296 so the 148 pixel will be your dividing line).

After you`ve placed the left facing unit you need to place the right facing unit opposite to it. For both esthetic and practical reasons you should try to set the images to be symmetrical. Try to respect the same height point you chose for the other side and also find some sort of landmark to follow for the width (for example the number of pixels from the edge of the card to the end of the truck). It`s just math and patience basically.

When you finish the above you need to place the small cards in the lower half of the card. For this go to the window for Renault AHN l+++ and right click it->Image->Scale Image. Change the pixels option to percent. Change the width from 100,00 to 50,00. On the Quality Interpolation field change the Linear to Cubic (Best). At this point the Height value will also be automatically changed to 50,00 so you can just click the Scale button. Do the same for the other image (Renault AHN r+++)

You need to place the small images in the card. The general rule is that the bottom pixel (for wheeled and tracked vehicles) should be 242. In terms of the horizontal you could follow the example of some already completed card to get an idea of where they should go.

When you`re done with this part just go to File->Save as..., choose a name and save the file as a .png. That`s about it.

Iain, thank you, but the above guide is pretty much tied into the specifics here (H.Balck`s renders with provided shadows). If someone were to make photos of miniature models for example and try to convert those into PzC battle cards, the process would involve quite a few more steps.

Renault AHN

Usable as french 2nd Infantry transport !

Sadly, no. The AHN was made too late to serve with the French army in world war 2 and it was produced for the Germans:
http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/th ... iew+Thread

This not being the first time that H.Balck sees some illustration or picture and makes a unit without bothering to read the text. Then I spend half an hour to figure out that the illustration is some artists`s fantasy or that the picture shows a prototype that never went into production or equipment that was not used during the second world war by that nation.

In a similar vein, the Polish "Wz 34 halftrack open" was in reality a "workshop car" so it wasn`t used to tow/transport anything of use for this game:
http://derela.republika.pl/c4p.htm

@everyone
could you please help me research the following 2 units? I need to know their speed, entry into service date and most importantly what they were used for (transporting infantry, towing which guns etc.)

German Pahenomen Granit 1500S
French Chevrolet RD 4x2

Also, could someone enlighten me as to what the following two were used for?
German Mercedes L4500A
French Citroen 23

H.Balck and R-35
Thank you for new update

but I see a couple of inaccuracies
1. 76.2mm_M1927 and 76.2mm_M1927_AT - I think you need to add multipurpose mode.
2. YaG-10 with 76-mm AA-Gun. Years of production 1935-1937. Years of exploitation 1936-1941.

I think the limit for transport units this solvable problem
Please tell me how. I`ve been asking for proposals on this chapter for some time.

Mule (Soviet Mnt Transport)
SmallHorse (Soviet Horse Transport Light)
Horse (Soviet Horse Transport)
HorseWagon (Soviet Horse Transport Eng)
Jeep (GAZ-67, Willys-MB)
Truck (GAZ-AA, GAZ-MM)
LightTruck (Zis-5, Dodge WC51)
HeavyTruck (Zis-6, YaG-10)
HalftrackTruck (Zis-42M)
APC (M3 Halftrack)
SeepCar (Ford GPA Seep)
LightTractor (T-20 Komsomolyets, Pioneer)
Tractor (Tractor STZ-5, T-26 Tractor)
HighSpeedTractor (Stalinets S-2, Ya-12)
HeavyTractor (Tractor ChTZ-65, Kommunar, Kommintern)
SuperHeavyTractor (Voroshilovets)

I think that you must add the GAZ-64. This jeep was already available in 1941.
Also you can add Chevrolet G7117

Thank you! It`s fixed now.
2. YaG-10 with 76-mm AA-Gun. Years of production 1935-1937. Years of exploitation 1936-1941.
The years are the ones from vanilla PzC. They might have been implemented for gameplay rather than historical reasons. Are you saying that from 1942 the unit should not be recruitable anymore?
I think that you must add the GAZ-64. This jeep was already available in 1941.

Unless I`m missing something we don`t have those units made/released so I can`t add them.

Since I`m making these adjustments and implementing the units Brazenman requested, I could try to add a few more units. Time permitting. Question is, are the Spanish units so called "new generation" or can they be added to this mod? I`m asking because we already have a Spanish Chevrolet RD and the planes from the Condor legion, but there`s no point to include these for a release if the use of the other Spanish units is not allowed.

About YaG-10
I understand that it's not your fault. This is a crude error of developers Soviet Corps.

All of these SPG-AA were destroyed by the fall of 1941 in the boiler near Vyazma.
Two regiments of air defense were were armed with these SPG-AA. These regiments were completely destroyed.

@Brazenman when did the BA-27M enter service and was there a speed difference between it and the regular BA-27?
