What's this RAM variable.. ?Admiral DadMan wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 11:58 am I can recommend three solutions.
One change your RAM settings in the batch file,
Two you can clear out the bios battery which involves unplugging the power source, and holding the start button down from a cold startup, or
Three delete the database and start over.
Have you looked at the link I posted? Other than that no but most is obvious. Example for oil is what's stored, produced, used, difference in units and days.Dereck wrote: Thu Oct 30, 2025 3:53 pm Is there any documentation anywhere that would explain meaning of some of the columns on pages? Most interested in the Supply&Fuel, and Oil&Res tabs on the Industry page.
Thanks
There's so many pages to this thread that I didn't go through from the first page to the last so what I did go through I might have missed it. Could you possibly direct me to your link?Chris21wen wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 6:55 amHave you looked at the link I posted? Other than that no but most is obvious. That really didn't tell me what I needed to know. I'm trying to figure out what the "Repairs" and "Rep.Used/Need" columns in the Supply&Fuel tab of the Industry page specifically mean. Whether they are a daily total or the overall total that will be needed.Chris21wen wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 6:23 am

It's very simple - Numbers without brackets are industrial factories producing product, numbers in brackets are damaged or under construction (from expansion). Supply is the main requirement for repairs - 1000 points per single factory repair. All the production data is per day. Expansion (not available on Allied side) requires 100 supply + 10 Manpower (and maybe 10 HI?) per point of expanded industry to get a 'damaged' (nascent) factory that requires another 1000 supply to get producing.Dereck wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 11:14 amThat really didn't tell me what I needed to know. I may have hosed myself but in my scenario I disabled 25% (I believe) of the industry in the US to simulate it's having to come online and now when I look at in Tracker the supplies used for repairs is enormous so I'm just trying to get a handle on what those columns mean.
Thanks
So, am I reading the tracker information right for the Continental US/Canada: In the "Supply" column I have 28,214,914 supplies on hand; the "Supply Prod." column tells me I'm producing 296,653 per turn; the "Supply Req." says I need 258,438 per turn.BBfanboy wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 2:06 pm It's very simple - Numbers without brackets are industrial factories producing product, numbers in brackets are damaged or under construction (from expansion). 25% is pretty severe for the Allies given they are very short of supply at game start. 10% would be more reasonable. For the Allies, Political Points to release land and air units is the biggest issue in the first year of game time.
It's not what you are spending but what is required.Dereck wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 4:19 pm ....
The next two are what sort of confuses me (unless they are daily): "Repairs" says I'm spending 536,000 per turn and I can't figure out what the "Rep. Use/Need" of 0/3 means.
...
No. You need to have 10k in supplies before any damage is repaired and each point repaired costs 1k in supplies.
Yeah, Thanks. I checked it out and your right. Damn memory....GP
How do you re-initiate tracker? I've gone and removed old alerts but that's all I remember seeing (I'm not at my game computer at the moment).Chris21wen wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 6:51 am Doesn't sound normal. The larger the database the longer it takes to load so to make a three fold jump in time does imply some form of corruption. There is only so much space available for Java to run tracker and once that approaches full stange things can happen and I suspect this is the case.
I periodically re-initiate tracker and I do it based on load times. It varies but it's usually around a year.
