At least it will be light tomorrow morning at 7AM. It was still dark when we left the hockey rink this morning to go home. [:D]
Have fun tomorrow, Paul!

Guys,
Can someone give me some guidance on a computer issue I'm having? I'm trying to install Close Combat III and the install hangs up every time it gets to the DirectX part. I tried to just let it run, but it appears to well and truly hang every time. Now, I'm pretty sure I have the latest DX installed already. Is there a way to bypass that part of the install?
Thanks!

That depends on how the installer is programmed. I'm guessing there's no "cancel" button available?

None that I can see. No way to manually select the programs to install either.

Problem has been solved. Apparently it will not run under XP. I had to place the exe file under Win95 environment to get it to run. [X(]

Happy Halloween to all threadster brothers.
Tonight the darkness mean lonelyness and sadness. Only when alone you face your fate can you judge of your own life and what you did (or did not); only alone in the dark can you have an indsight of your own value...Or lack of.
Tonight i am drunk....that is not a good thing [:-]. But i dont give a damn, life is so unfair.
Tomorrow i will be ashame of my post and maybe i will edit it. Tonight i don't care.
Life is a bitch.
Live it as well as you can, all of you: i wish you the best. But be aware that some won't have the same amount of luck as others.

3 things, Eric:
1. Being able to evaluate your own life and find things you can do better is a great skill. When you know better, you do better. Anything that happened in the past that you are not proud of is fine, if you are able to honestly learn from it.
2. Depending on where you are and what you have to do, being drunk can be a fine thing.
3. There is nothing in your post to be ashamed of. Writing it has been valuable to you, and reading it can and likely is valuable to some of us.
4. (I can't count [;)]) Happy Halloween to you! [8D]

Some rum just recently was "spilled" into my Coke as I get ready to watch a hockey game on TV.
Your post reminds me of a friend from elementary school, who I haven't seen since I was 12 years old. Her birthday is on Halloween, as well. Happy Birthday, Cheryl. [:D]
Enjoy the party, Torsten! [8D]
