The Japanese roll a 2. I am close to failing a morale check here - this is soul destroying.

Its a good job I have an unshakeable belief in ultimate victory [:D]

The dice are kinder this time - the fractional odds make it a 2:1 and a throw of 9 is welcome.

The offensive is at an end as all units are disorganised, but its almost the best result I could expect - one more (10) and I would have remained organised.

The Germans re-base a couple of aircraft to Romania and the Japanese re-base a Nav to Amoy.

The turn continues on a 4.

No declarations of war.

Land: USSR, China
Combined: CW, France
Naval:
Pass: USA

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW send The Queens to the West Med and load a INF from Malta.

CW bomb Stettin while France bomb Stuttgart. CW also nightbomb Cologne.

Germany can intercept the French bomber with one with one fighter and France can counter with two.

Germany can intercept the bomber above Cologne with 5 fighters and CW can only counter with one fighter. But it is at night and none of the German fighters is nightfighters and the British is so that would make it interesting. Germany could, of course, use their AA unit to reduce the bombers strength to zero.

So will Germany send up any interceptors or use their AA unit?

The result on Cologne was an automatic miss due to the AA fire and the French bomber missed. The only positive result of the bombings was against Stettin.

China ground strike Yamamoto. Both sides can bring one fighter. Will Japan intercept?

One Chinese Army manoeuvre behind the Japanese lines and slowly advance towards Canton.

Edit: CW land one INF west of Tripoli.

There are two attacks in China. One by the Communists against Haichow. The other by the Nationalists against Yamamoto.

Will Japan give any naval support to the defenders in Haichow?

Will Yamamoto provide defensive HQ support?

And will Japan fly any ground support? Japan has a LND2 and a NAV2 within range. China has a fighter that can intercept.

If I use HQ support, regardless of whether it fails or succeeds do you get the +1 (for flipped) on this attack?

No +1 either way. If the HQ support succeeds my odds is lowered by one and the HQ is disorganized after the attack. If it fails then there is no effect.

Okay the order has gone out. Pile everything into the defence of those two hexes.

Orm I am now going to be offline until tomorrow. Happy for you to take any action you think fit on my behalf. Cheers.
