Awesome victory, Cap [&o], but I see the good ship Hibiki emerged unscathed.

Somehow I bet Cuttlefish has a small smile on his face right about now...

It wasn't just Hibiki that came out fo that well. Nagato really punished several Allied BB's. One may even sink and they all are going to be in the yard for some time.

Radar, more guns and all, the allies had 1/2 the hits [17] that the Japanese got - 33 + 1 torp. Having a couple of knots speed advantage really does give better firing position and hit probability. Sometimes I think the game engine gives a little too much boost to the chances of a slower ship getting hit.

Nagato certainly does not have more guns than 5 BB's combined, even if you throw in the CA. I think all the Allied BB's had radar. Still, it was worth the trade on the Jap carriers. We already have 3 broken BB's en route the West coast. Happy times in the repair yards.

Mandrake and Spiors contribution to the economy. If you keep this up... we should be out of the depression by 43'.

Supply levels at PH:

Fort level 5? Is that correct? If you've been hanging around at an enemy base long enough to build up to level 5, you've been there too long (or more precisely- the enemy has been there too long).

If you take the base you'd actually be downgrading, I mean by now the British officers would have the tennis courts complete and be half way through constructing a 9 hole golf course.

Can you show us one switched over to show experience/morale/disruption and such? I'm curious if all that sort-of survived combat has turned them into Universal Soldiers.

If they serve Hendricks over ice at the turn I'm in for the 39th 25% share, but if its these knuckleheads in the rear mixing the libations behind the clubhouse I suggest you introduce "the pole" at the stag bar and reduce the price on the green fees.

Oz: Big day in the air over PH yesterday. JJ still putting up very large numbers of Tojos and Zeroes over PH. Perhaps they are flying in from Broome? 3 squadrons of P-40K from Exmouth were ordered to sweep over PH as the P-38 boys are worn out. They go in in dribs and drabs but do manage a favorable exchange. A B-17/B-24 raid over PH does quite a bit of damage to the airfield, including many aircraft destroyed on the ground. A raid over Broome is only moderately successful. Virtually all of the mediums stay home. JJ manages another 2:1 attack at PH but it goes well in our favor.
