To get the best out of this artwork you should have Cathartes' AE planetops installed as well. This is not required but will provide a better match between styles of the default and rotating artwork.

Cathartes' AE planetops can be downloaded from http://www.turkeyvulturesart.info/downloads.htm on Cathartes' Accurate Air Site

Just to prove that we aren't biased on this forum (and that I am still alive) here is another small sample to whet your appetite....

Japanese artwork is always hard as there isn't much around and it is rarely comprehensive. However we do try!!!

Download from the next post!!!

A6M2 Rotating Art Sampler - Ver 1

A6M2 Rotating Art Sampler Version 1: Just a hypothetical mini collection of Zero Model 21 aircraft artwork along with the matching rotating top art. The schemes are accurate for A6M2 aircraft and in general chronological order, just not applicable to any one individual unit.

Since the A6M2 stays in production for so long, I though you guys might appreciate a late war colour scheme when 1944/45 rolls around in place of the 1941 fighter grey.

===================================
Installation instructions:

To make things easy, just unzip this distribution into your AE game folder (after making sure the "use folders" option is set. The zip file includes the Art directory.

To verify correct installation, just load the Andy Mac's Buccaneer scenario. As this is set in Oct'43, the A6M2 aircraft sideart should have updated to the field applied Green over Grey paintwork. Load the Downfall scenario and the full green camouflage should be use.

Something like this, or do you want some generic holders.

Naming them like this won't happen overnight.[:D]

Hmm, maybe I should use a different color for the numbering...

Mmmm Halsey There is only one Imperial Guards Division desn´t it ???

2 SNLF parechute, some IJA parachute (still don´t know).

The last for SNLF maybe is not the best, but its the only i have found, it is a helmet insignia, maybe it could be placed as generic for all SNLF

Well, strictly speaking, there were three Guards divisions over the course of the war.
