I don't suppose there's any kind of word on whether there will be a sale to celebrate this expansion's release? Would really love to try this game out but the current price point is a little outside the range I'm comfortable with

It has been said that there will be a release sale once the expansion is out. Which is supposed to be the 21st (if I remember correctly).

With all the talk about Pirates lately, I know some of you who prefer planetary empires will also appreciate this new galaxy setup option.

When you first install Shadows, this is where I recommend you begin. The new gameplay in the Age of Shadows is very different from the classic age and these new tutorials will help you understand how to survive and thrive.
