Being a radical islamist shouting "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire on his infidel comrades. Someone who is supposed to defend sucidal attacks and said "Muslims should rise against their US suppressors"
Call that a nutcase - for me that's a terrorist attack, nothing else. His motivations were obviously in common with other terrorists who also felt "bullied for being a muslim", who also hated that women aren't oppressed and who also hated the western involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Where's the difference? That he has shot and not blown himself up? That he just shouted Allahu Akbar before shooting and - so far - no video with that screaming was found?

I don't believe he did that, seeing as how he barely spoke Arabic. But that's beside the point; another nutbag with a gun has shot a lot of people in a high-rise in Orlando.

BTW, Torsten, no politics on The Thread EVER. I was simply pointing out that another tragedy had happened in America, and you chose to drag it into something political. That's unacceptable on the Matrix forums, and most certainly on The Thread.

You speak German as I remember. German Media is aready full with that "Allahu Akbar before shooting". The rest (pro suicidal attacks, muslims should rise, etc.) is also all around the media.

Doesn't matter who started it, or who said what. We've managed to keep the Thread a pleasant place to hang out by avoiding discussions like this. The recent occurances are both sad and we can all agree with that without any further comments.

But its not the first time that Terminus said I should not be political after he started a political discussion himself!
This rule is indeed good, this keeps a good climate in this forum, unlike in others.
But maybe he might also try not to behave as if he's exploiting this rule, would you mind Terminus?
