Dobo: More LYB troops and suppries unroading. There are now 20K LYB's there. A flotilla of PT boats arrive after daybreak and scare off a large amphbious taffy. JJ has bombers both at Ambon and at Sorong (Sallys and Helens). They attack the ground units there and we attack theirs with B-17's and B-25's. The LYB's do not attack on the ground....yet.


PH: JJ raids PH again at night to try to stop our AK's from unloading.

I wonder if, IRL, an AM has a deep enough draft to be hit by a torpedo? Maybe it was set off by the fishing tackle the crew were using, heavy downrigger weights and all that.[8|]

Re: the units at PH starting to recover and getting supply, this is the first clear sign that you will win that battle without having to beat a retreat first. The pressure you put on at Dobo diverted his strikes on your PH troops, just as you expected.

M&M Enterprises is prepared for any eventuality - and opportunity. It appears our two Admirals [one Lordly, one not so much] have contracted out the strategy and planning portions of the game so they could get on with writing the AAR.[:D]

Good thing they don't have to retreat first too- they've come in by sea so that's the only way out.

It goes without saying that all good outcomes for us have been exquisitely planned and are the fruition of months of foundation-building, leadership and good committee work.

No worries, Mate! I heard they have a squad with a ten-ass [or burro if you prefer to maintain the PC style of this AAR [;)]] team of supplies following the meandering prospector's trail from Carnarvon to Corunna Downs to open a path for resupply or "redeployment to the rear".
