Currently in C:MO the missile's radar is not LPI and is easily detected by ESM sensors. The LRASM is a primarily passive missile and that is where its effectiveness lies, so it does not currently perform as expected.
I'm actually not sure the LRASM has an active radar at all; I know that the Jalopnik article mentions an LPI radar, but given the quality of reporting I could see that being a misinterpretation or misrepresentation of the passive "radar" system the missile has, or the "active and passive survivability measures" attributed to the missile in other articles (an active survivability measure can just mean it flies around radars or performs end-game manoeuvres to avoid CIWS; a passive survivability measure is something like just being stealthy).

I haven't found any other source that indicates that it has a radar either, with others instead stating that it performs terminal guidance purely passively via its ESM and IIR sensors.

the C:MO DB3000 PLAAF (China) H-6K "God of War" can not carry the YJ-12 ASM, while open source intel indicates they have been upgraded over the H-6G version to carry up to six (6)

<summary>ADD DDS to Virginia class SSN-778 and SSN-784</summary>

<detail>

A number of Virginia submarines are configured specifically for the special operations support mission with a Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) on top of their hulls aft of their sails. The DDSs, like the one seen in use in the video below, allow for the underwater deployment of large payloads, such as miniature submarines and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV), as well as the simultaneous egress of large groups of combat swimmers.

<summary>Update range of Spearfish torpedo</summary>
<detail>The Spearfish Mod 0 and Mod 1 (#1932 and #980) should have their slow-speed cruise range increased from 20nmi to 29nmi. Exact numbers are obviously classified, but all open source articles I can find suggest a range anywhere from 28 to 30+nmi, all well above the current 20nmi. 29nmi is a good estimate and would make the most sense as 20nmi is far too short to be truly effective when compared to contemporaries such as the Mk48.</detail>

Loadouts typo?

Ref L-39NG, new entry for DB489 all users?

It's got 2 x GBU-10 (MK84) LGB load outs?

Mk84 2000lb seems "optimistic" for a platform of this size?

Should it be GBU-12 perhaps, as Mk82 500lb seems a better fit?
Thanks

The MADIS is mounted on a pair of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, one with a turret launcher for four Raytheon Coyote anti-drone UAV and a 30mm cannon, as well as an optical sensor and shoulder-fired Stingers (MADIS MK1). The second vehicle is equipped with an RPS-42 360-degree radar, a 7.62mm M134 minigun, and electro-optic/infrared sensors, as well as shoulder-fired Stingers (MADIS MK2). On both vehicles is the Modi II dismounted electronic countermeasures system, which can be used to disrupt enemy drones, communications, and radio-controlled improvised explosive devices.

The L-MADIS is a counter-UAS electronic attack system mounted on a Polaris MRZR all-terrain vehicle. <summary> More realistic missile mix in S400 systems</summary>

<detail>Now S400 batteries have by default the 40N6 missile in all their TELs and I think it is not realistic.

Watching videos of simulated Russian Army exercises sometime shows the mix of missiles they simulate to have in a S400 unit:

Image
Image

we can see the following configuration

1- 40N6, 4x missiles
2- 48N6, 10x
3- 48N6P-01, 7x
4- 48N6DM, 24x

45 missiles in total so we can deduce that it is a battery with 12 TEL (48 missiles maximum). At the time the picture was taken, 2x48N6 and 1x48N6P-01 were probably expended.

It's just an idea to have a more realistic combination of missiles. In theory the 40N6 missile can only be carried by the latest 51P6A TEL.

Spanish AW.212 Air to Ground Weapons

None of the database options include any air to ground weapon like 70mm rockets or 7.62mm guns. Even the photo used for “#1319 AB.212 ASW Spain (Navy), 2003 Augusta-Bell” shows a Spanish AB.212 with rocket pods There is a nice write up about the Assault Huey’s in World Air Power issue 23, but unfortunately I haven’t posted enough to the forms to allow links and attachments.

Hi, (Repost from main forum Tech Support)
I am seeing both entries for the 612 Badr Class.... #281 and #323 show only 2x2 Harpoon loadout, but Wiki and the pictures in CMO itself clearly show 2x4 launchers, also 2015/2016 Jane's Fighting ships shows it with 8 missiles, so it should be 8 harpoons on each vs 4. That is unless I'm all messed up again.

John

A new land attack variant of the Kh-59; the Kh-59MKM(odernized) to punch through concrete with a pre-charger.

Please, also take a look at the other general data of this new variant. Because the data in de Database is sometimes better for the older variants (# 984 Kh-59M and #481 Kh-29MK) than this new one (CEP, release altitude etc).
