Looks like I'm one impulse too late. If I use O-chit to reorganize all HQ's and Allies choose full pass, they have 30% chance to end turn. That would be awful. All HQ's are disorganized now.

There is a way how Germany could make a decent attack this turn. If CW does not move Spanish INF in Morocco to east, German MAR takes hex in east and comes back. After that Italian ATR can bring German MTN to Morocco and fly back to Spain. Next impulse Germany can attack Tangier using MAR and MTN in Morocco and INF in Gibraltar. If Tangier is in supply, no attack but MTN should go to Morocco for next turn.

Worth a go if the turn lasts long enough.

What would be the best line for Japanese to hold in China? Which resources they should defend and which resources give away without a fight?

Japs needs all possible units in Manchuria and Pacific Ocean.

With a preponderance of low combat rolls, China has been a mess from the start. I don't think much more in the way of gains can be made.

In the north I think I'm going to try defending the two major ports and Haichow with 2 unit stacks and shore bombardment (which will also provide ASW factors) and send the rest to Manchuria, either as defence on the border with China or USSR.

In the south I need to destroy that 3-2 unit on the rail line, then defend the line from the resource back to Canton.

Can I start impulse tonight?

Combined for Italians and initiate combat in CSV and BoB?

I'll start on it now. What does Germany want to call? Japan is going land.

Germany land, O-chit to reorganize all HQ's even with a risk.

Italy needs to send CA from Gibraltar to CSV to initiate combat. Take combined for Italy, Inf in Algeria needs to move before it can attack.

Let's see ground strikes after naval combat. Italy and Germany could attack hex in France together.

How about if Germany moves 7-4 INF to Malaga. Italian TRS can pick it up next impulse and debark to Algeria. With that unit Algiers could be taken next turn.

One rail move for Germany: Berlin MIL from Memel to Gibraltar.

Germany will attack Bilbao (15:20 +1). Germany will use Ju88 to ground strike Bilbao, there is INF and LND (1 tactical factor). If I hit either of them, it's good.

Italy and Germany would get (31:22 -1) attack in Bayonne. I don't think that is good thing to do now.

Don't waste valuable units there. Also: start thinking about defense too. Did you build the Japanese and German SYNTH already? If not, start building them since they need a year to become operational and you will need more oil...

Could use the Italian 4-5 Mot.

That is quite slow in mountains. Units are in supply only in coastal hexes.

Italians have an INF arriving next turn. How about saving until then? The Italian TRANS can take it direct to port, rather than leaving it subject to the subs in the West Med.

Forget the Italian Stuka ground strike this turn then. No point using the oil.

Is Germany going for land this impulse.

Now the two Italian units in Africa are ready to move on Algiers, I'm tempted to move the CA at La Spezia to West Med for shore bombardment. If Stuka ground strike works, attack would be 5:2. 2:1, with 50% chance of 3:1. Even at 2:1 chance of success is 60% (20% chance of disaster).

Japan combined to get the INF in China Sea to Truk and deploy the fleet.

I have not looked at game, but plan is to take combined to initiate combat in CSV.

Bf110 to CSV box 2 and CA to CSV box 4. Bf110 initiates combat, if possible use 4 points to get surface combat and sink that CP. In BoB one of the German planes initiates combat (keep sub deep to get air to air combat).

Let's see what kind of situation is after naval combat, maybe no ground strikes.

Rail ARM div from Poland to Seville.

First up, Biscay.

The Hungarian fighter gets proceedings underway. The Italian subs decide to abstain.

Searches: Both roll 7. No combat.

Cape St Vincent

The Bf-110 initiates the search. No additional air is flown. CW can fly Hurricane up to 1-box and Harrow the 2-box should they wish?
