We've got to have the grumpy blind dog put down today. He bit Freddie last night. No damage to the nipper, but we just can't take the chance. He has been living on borrowed time since we rescued him four and a half years ago, but there can only be so many chances. Farewell Harry, my tough little soldier...

Carl,

Sorry about your loss. FWIW, my wife and I made the same decision shortly after our dog started nipping at the kids due to her senility. She had been the sweetest most loving dog either of us had ever had the pleasure of being around, but her actions reminded us that the dog we loved was 'no longer there' and had already left. I'm sure you made the right decision for you, your family and ultimately, your dog.

In other news, Australian concert-goers were complaining loudly about a Britney Spears concert being playback.

Er, HELLO??? It's Britney Spears! She's never sung live in her entire "career".

Morons...
THREAD please forgive me for saying this, but I must be honest. Up until a couple years ago, few could do for tight leather clothing what she did. I can watch her all day. [X(]

Can't much stand to listen to her though.

We let our dog live despite he "bit" my sister and me - but not without provocations of us before.
We never regretted that!

Anyway, sorry to hear that, Carl

I have not seen Robert about for ages. Does anyone know how he is?

Thanks for all the condolences Boys. Much appreciated. He was the one dog who never rested and was always under your feet or in your face. His absence is really noticeable. I know from painful experience that time helps, but as the name suggests, it takes time.

How's your good lady Martin? I hope she is bearing up well? With all the hormones about, your loss must be doubly felt.

He took some time out for personal reasons.

Time helps, I know that as well. You probably know this, but remember the good times and the fact that his life had such an impact on yours.

The common consensus among everyone is that it's affected me far more than Mrs Dixie. Kora was my dog far more than the wife's. Our current dog is more attached to Clare than to me, so she's probably holding up better than I was.

Total irreverant subject change:

Having been granted 'Matrix Elite Guard' status, I notice that some of you are either Matrix Legion of Merit or Matrix Legion of Honor. Presumably the latter involves more postings than the former?

While USS America and Mynok appear to be honorable, Historiker just has 'merit'. I just wanted to say that I am touched to be amongst such an honorable and meritorious bunch.

thegreatwent and myself will be going at as soon as the new patch is out. Hoping to do a joint AAR. So I am soliciting prospective titles for our AAR. Any suggestions? [:)][8D]
