I've decided to get some cheerleaders for myself since they are so good in inspiring gameplay. Here's my team:

Axis turn 114

Well, let's see the situation right now:

Far North(Lapland):
Axis are not advancing here, neither are the Soviets. The front is pretty much dead.

Finland-Leningrad Area:
Eastern Karelia is still in a standstill, Soviet being unable to push the finnish line and finns not daring to attack. However a force of 6 german infantry divisions are approaching the Svir river and will strike the Soviets from behind or simply cut their supply source. Also strong german forces are advancing towards Archanglesk, it will take sometime before they reach it.

In Karelian Isthmus the Soviets redeployed their divisions to Fortress Leningrad, and thus finns were free to advance, and managed to wipe out an division or two in the progress.
The Germans are advancing from South and although haven't attacked the fortress itself they have cut it off from the rest of Soviet union. Novay Ladoga, which will cut supply to leningrad if captured, is defended by a handful of soviets with no acces to reinforcements.

Moscow:
Encircled and under attack. I lost somewhere between 2000-3000 Heavy Rifle Squads this turn, most of them here. I made it to within 3 hexes of Kreml. I am attacking at a frontage of about 15 hexes, with massive artillery support. I however need more if I want to push through...I think.

Gorky:
In the process of being encircled, currently there is no fear of Soviet counter-attack, and even if there would be I have plenty of troops resting nearby. Also large detachements are resting further south after wiping out the Stalingrad Front.

All in all, I think game will be over in about 5 turns. I don't see how Larry can keep Moscow.
Even if he does hold out until mud, all that will be in Soviet hands then are Moscow and Gorky. Both encircled by a lot of troops.

Just curious larry or anyone with fite experience. Is there any substantial soviet counter-offensive "punch" left at this stage with the current situation?? Or are there any out of theater events that can improve the outcome if the soviets can manage to fend off the axis just a little while longer?

ps: Now that I think about it--with the cheerleading team you have--I wouldn't really be to concerned with the outcome afterall[:'(]
