Just judging from the kinds of planes used by the Japs in this raid, I'd say there was at least one carrier type in the waters off Kuching.

I'm unloading an LCU at Tulagi so that it won't be empty when the Japs get there. Maybe slow them down a bit. Maybe.

All the Jap ships are far away from Singkawang or they are moving away so I'm going to take this opportunity to fuel up Singkawang
while I have the chance. Who knows when the Japs will be back. Probably in a few days from now. With more transports full of troops.

I'm loading up the 41st Aust. Bn at Newcastle for transport to Shortlands. If there's enough time to get there before the Japs do. Might
slow them down if they hit some resistance. Maybe.

This is only one of about a dozen sub attacks by both sides yesterday. The attacks were of varying degrees of success and there was
lots of shooting and lots of torpedo's flying.
